Not sure, they seem pretty laid back about it all.

At least it shows they really are interested. Probably just trying it on. Hopefully they will come up with something thats realistic. Hoping and keeping my fingers crossed for you!

How stupid was the offer maybe you need to ask yourself whether the offer was stupid or the valuation.

Actually I put my house on the market for 75k under valuation for a quick sale! There is nothing remotely like it within that sort of level, so a offer of another 40k off aint going anywhere.............

Ok I would say that does sound a bit silly.

No news here, but feeling down as well :(

I rang the EA today to ask when they were taking the SOLD sign down, she said 'oh, have you exchanged?'

Then went on to say it would be Wednesday before they got someone out to do it so as soon as hubby came in, I sent him into the garden to do it himself.

I feel like someone has died, in all honesty! I'm grieving for the house and life I thought we were going to have!:o

I'm usually quite a positive person (albeit a bit of a worrier!) but I'm really struggling to put a positive spin on this one - moreso because I think our EA's are not working for us, if anything they're working against us.

Feeling down, too. I keep wondering if we'll ever sell. A house that I really like has come back onto the market, overs in the region of £50k over our budget. :-(

The house that we originally wanted to move for, (the reason we put ours on) is currently being rented out and we've been told that at the end of March the 6 months is up and the tenants will be moving out. So we may have a shot at that... If ours sells.

Our agent has suggested we drop the price, though DH is adament he doesn't need to... Because our house is the 2nd cheapest on the estate and much better condition than some of them. A house 4 doors up went on the market this weekend, it needs a LOT of work and is on for almost £20k more than ours. (It does have a fourth bedroom, but it is teeny tiny).

*sighs* Anyone got a magic wand????
I love giving home made gifts, which one of my children would you like? :D :A :D

Im a FTB, just wondering what you guys think. I'm intrested in house or was... its priced at 115k i put a offer in of 103K which was refused. Then upped it to 106k which was refused. The seller wants 112k. The old women who lived there has died and the son and daughter are selling the house so all profit. Its been on 2 months now.

Am i being silly? i thought i'd have had a chance with a 9k drop. In the end they said 110k would seal it but 4k is a lot to a FTB with no funiture.

I'm now in a position were we cant move forward and has over clouded my intrest in the house. :/

    Crazy sellers
