Well, hubby surprised me with Deck the Halls on DVD for our weekly Date Night, and we've been watching Christmas episodes of our favourite TV progs.
We're gonna get The Holiday out to watch this week.
I'm really lucky that hubby is really excited and into Christmas too, we have started the food shopping, present buying, ds and me will be making the cards and wrapping paper very soon. (ds 3 yrs keeps asking if its time to write to santa and ask him for a dalek yet ROFL)
Its our baby girls first Christmas too so extra special this year, what can I put in a 5 month olds stocking ?? LOL
I am looking forward to halloween first though and dressing up the kids LOL

Another Cold/ Rainy Day here.
Managed to get a few more things crossed of lists yesterday, and took 4 bags to the charity shop. Cleared out mine and OH bedroom, and started on the kids room.
Managed to pick up some more craft supplies too yesterday. Got some lovely Kilner jars in Tescos for 87p each which will do for my joke and fact jars. All I need to get now is my book binders and laminating pouches for the books that I'm putting together.
Will do the Frontroom next week when I've got the new Paint over the weekend (I Must be mad Decorating LOL) Gonna Touch up all the Paint work upstairs this week while I'm sorting out, and need to wrap a few more pressies up.
Gonna Put the Slow cooker on in a bit and get some freezer meals ready as well as tea.
Need to do a bit of printing today aswell.
Hope everyone has another productive day, not long now...

Last you for my son's birthday I made him a book featuring all his favourite toys. We took them to the park and made photos, edited using freebie photo editing (to make the toys fly) and put it together using desktop publishing software, again the software was free.
We printed it at home onto poundland photo paper and had it bound into a book at Staples.
The cost was about £3-£4, but you could do it for less.
He loves the book, and still askes for it as a bedtime story occasionaly a year later.
Well worth the time and effort put in, I'm not good with the software, as I was learning as I went, so it took a little while, but the end result was worth it.
For christmas my son's toys are off to see father christmas at the north pole, meeting Rudolf on the way. I'll download the pictures, and add the toys on later, it will save the funny looks we got lost year, walking around a playground with a cuddly sheep and a camera!0 -
Bought some more presents yesterday - bargains and got dad and husbands aftershave both £5 cheaper than I expected.
Can't wait - tonight I'm going to SIL's for a craft night to get well under way with our scrap book presents. Freedom. Have to get to asda today and print the photos up. Gonna finish bathroom and master bedroom this morning hopefully . Got 3 loads of washing lined up and one already in.
Made some chocolate fudge yesterday - nice but really sickly - might try white fudge another time and I want to try rocky road some time too.
85 days left. I only have 1 more month to have finished all my shopping!!!0 -
Hello everyone sorry to have deserted you!!
It was my moms 50th birthday and I went over there to celebrate
I made her a beautiful hamper that I have planned for a long time.. It was going so well.. Until I went to wrap it and realised my cellophane roll had run out. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I can't believe all of the things everyone has done! I am starting to feel nervous! I prepared loads of meals for the run up to christmas.. The Tesco man delivered them yesterday... HAHA!!
I was cleaning the house yesterday for my parents to come visit when I picked up a bag of potatoes I had never seen in my life.. they had turned to the most awful smelling water you had ever seen in your life. The bag had burst and it started coming out all over my floor and all over a bag of brand new scrapbooks I had there.
I couldn't stop laughing (and heaving) though because my two year old daughter was running off screaming and crying. It was just so random. "The tatos was coming out mommy":xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0
