Hi everyone, I spend so much time reading these posts on here that I forget to post myself.
I have nearly finished getting the presents for my nieces and nephews, made the girls baskets with sock monkeys and other bits and pieces, I'm waiting for some muffin cases to make sock muffins. The nephews have football related bits put together like a hamper. Still have to get for my grandchildren and son and two daughters, oh and I have sort of agreed to just use the money we would normally spend on each other on doing up the home as there are things we desperately need to get done.
Havent even started on any food for xmas yet as our freezer is full up to the brim where we keep seeing special offers. Oh is working Xmas day and Boxing day this year so it wont be a normal Xmas for us, we will probably have our "Xmas Day" a different day instead when he is home with us.0 -
Hi All!!!
I'm getting there with my home made pressies, slow but sure. My no sew blankets are done, my chutney is done, my list of things to buy is done and I've started my sister's tiger cross stitch. Only thing I really need to push on with is my Christmas cards as I really wanted to do cross stitch ones for close family but cannot believe how much the aida will cost me. Its going to make my cards really expensive.
My OH is buyinng my 40 threads for my birthdays which is only 19 days away yipee!! 21!!! _party_ :bdaycake::beer: Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -

I have been putting the money away bit by bit away since around may otherwise I would never of been able to afford it.
I have pretty much finished all my hm pressies only one or two to go so will have them done this weekend. Going to write out my cards this weekend to, one of the only chores of Christmas I dislike.0 -
