  • Now im even more excited :) Last year I didn't see it until December and had a mad rush to print everything off and catch up but this year I want to do it all day by day. I am just printing off the family values sheet about what christmas means to me and my family. I did this last year and it was so nice to read this year.

  • Awwww thats sweet Mel!

Me and my other half may be spending Christmas day away from family and possibly each other! He has just started work at a sat com base and will be shift working over Christmas meaning he will be working so we can't see family and if he is working I will be home alone!!
It would be nice to set up some traditions and things to pass down.

  • im so in i started organising my christmas at the beginning of august i cant wait for christmas this year
  • aw no that makes everything a bit difficult for you to plan doesn't it :( Do you think you would stay with family or would you rather be with OH and enjoy some snuggly alone time with your awesome blankets and a christmas DVD whilst he is hard at work loving his new job?

  • I really don't know to be honest Mel! Its difficult because I've always had Christmas with my family. It will be weird if it turns out he will be working but I wouldn't be happy knowing he was working all alone and then would have no one there when he got home.

I just hope it doesn't come to it to be honest.

  • When will you find out? The first christmas I had without my family just didn't feel right and I got so nostalgic and miserable. I hope you can find something to work out together:confused: Actually I just made that even worse didn't I:o

  • Hehe nah don't worry! I hope we can sort something as well. We were thinking of moving Christmas to another day and going down and having it with the family but I don't think it will be the same. I don't know when he finds out what he is working. I guess it will be when he moves from training to his shift.

Right I'm off to bed now, its the other half's birthday tomorrow and I know he will wake me up early like a small kiddie hehe.
