I dont know if anyone has come across this website
    www.halfcost.co.uk
Its basically, like catalogue returns, over sticks, a lot of items that you might find in Studio cards or Ace catalogues. The stick changes regularly, there may be something gd other times not. I do not get anything for referring this site, I came across it on one of the other threads, and I have placed 5 orders in the last 6 mths, and have now got my dds best friends mum hooked.
Its a gd money saving site.
    xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Ooh I'm glad you mentioned it - I've been on and seen quite a few bargains - but how often do they change their stuff - do you know - do they just keep adding random stuff or do they have a day when they update it - it looks good. Liked the italian job mens t-shirts £4 for 2, I could split them and that's two presents @£2 each for christmas - so cheap.
  • I have bought Christmas Cards and two tins of BOGOF chocs in Tesco. Plus a couple of presents (perfume from Boots)

I love Chrimble, we get a real tree so get in the first week of December.

Today we were discussing when we should start playing Christmas CDs, we settled on End of November, although I'll probably play them before.

I will start my Christmas Cake this week too (steep the fruit in Brandy for a few days)
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

    one life, live it!

I think it depends on stock I had my eye on suitcase and matching bag, £4.00, left it 2 days and theyd gone, yet the girls curtains I 1st went on May and there still on there. I've had bargains and bargains off there, did a wack of xmas shopping, the best thing is there all new tagged and bagged, cant guarentee that off ebay. I think they add stuff nearly every day. For deleivery the longest I had to wait is 7 days from deleivery, its all packed well.
DD shes 6 end the mth, hired a sports hall and shareing the party with her bf, dreading getting 30 sets of party bags done, but I got the girls, pale blue Head backpack, £1.00 each, the boys, godzilla wallet and pump bag again £1.00. It was a case of falling luckly.
I've got dad the sports polo shirts, and hes had swimming trubks, hes been impressed and there was no issue with the quality, there the proper items, not a fake.
Those Italian tshirts are a brilliant price. I have done a wack of xmas shopping, not paid more than £3 for xmas prezzies.

We've already started watching the christmas dvd's and will doubtless have watched them over and over again before christmas actually comes!

No probs, glad to be useful, dont worry you get emails from the company at different stages of the process, order recieved, in warehouse, processing, delievered, so your kept in the loop at all stages.

hate to tell you but half cost becomes addictive!!x

:j Yey Christmas :D Can I join also please?
I've been popping on and off this forum for a little while now and trying so hard to resist Christmas planning but Noooo! I can't any longer and last night I started proper planning, printing some of the planner sheets from the OC website. I've already had some ideas and have started on my crafty Christmas gifts, a couple are finished already :)
The past few years I've just gone mad with my spending and running aroud like a headless chicken throughout December right up to Christmas eve! I think this has mostly been down to lack of organisation, I've not quite cracked it yet but I'll def be prepared next year and will be starting to buy a few bits in the Jan sales.

Soo I'm going to get on with filling in my planner an making lists! oooh new lists :rotfl: :D
    The £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.
