  • hi all,
well thursday went to pot yet again..... just leaving for work when DS fell down and hurt his arm. After half hour or so of him moaning i thought i better get him to casualty, so didnt get to work ( but they really good as im good to them and always flexible to help them). spent 4 hours in the hopsital and eventually told hes damaged the ligaments etc so its pain killers and a sling for at least a week then we go back. Anyone would think his entire body was affected, all i have heard since is ' mum....can you do.....', least hes ok.
so i got to the market, it was freezing cold, hubby found the gluhwein (mulled wine) stall within seconds and as usual it was packed out, but not the same atmosphere this year but i cant say why, just not as christmassy? does that sound daft?
Friday was back in work and did 12 hours to catch up and so i could get the weekend at home too.
Saturday i was like a mad woman, cleaning the house like a whirlwind....did the washing, ironing , changed the beds, hoovered all through and even nipped for a few more pressies. By 7pm i was ready to drop but caught up so i felt real good, today i have been pottering doing bits and pieces. At the moment i have a fruit cake in the oven ( for whinging hubby) , hes been on a diet but has declared christmas and diet off til january!!!
Later im going to wrap some pressies whilst watching miracle on 34th street.

so off to carry on the good works
    xx
