Another devon shopping day - Paignton- got my bargain bags for the prezzies, got all sizes, so make the prezzies look a bit posher, dd has now decided that she no longer her name putting on the "family" xmas card she wants her own card. So bargain hunting got a box of 40 mini cards 99p, there the really pretty ones with the puppies and kittens in hats, and Disney Princess wrapping paper just for dd, (ok it was reduced from £1.99 to 79p a roll).
Spent £10 on odds and sods so if we get any extra bday prezzies for people at school we have the emergency present, as my stock of twister games are flying out, in the next 2 weeks shes got 3 bday parties. She has a better social life than me! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Ha Ha pinkladymel you've given me an idea - tomorrow I'm going to take a before photo and post it on here of my daughters bedroom and then tidy it and post the after picture. It might kick me up the bum to get it done, I know we're not up to that stage yet - but her room really needs sorted. Watch this space...
Wasn't impressed with my fudge I made but my husband liked it so I may make some more. Had a crafting evening last night and got nothing done! Too busy looking through my piles of embellishments and papers and ribbons and brads...you see what I mean. Going to do an order on halfcost tomorrow - They seem to add new stock on a friday(Has anyone else noticed that?)
My bathroom is all done so I did nothing today!!!(mind you - there's not much to do in there)Bought 36 toilet rolls from a trade warehouse the other day for a fiver so I think I am well stocked until after christmas on toilet rolls - gonna try stocking up on those things you always run out of so that at christmas I won't have to run out for anything.
I think I'm half way through my present shopping at the moment, only have til the end of the month to get it all done - need to get on with crafts.
Whoosh - long post. xxx night all.0 -
Evening all. I'm going great guns on getting organised. All my cards are written and addressed. Just bought £60 worth of choccies from thorntons online for £30. Hope they survive 'till 25th. eek!
Save me from spending...

Got a few more bits sorted yesterday, (not as much as I wanted ) I'm gonna get OH to take the Kettle to work with him to day......:rotfl: ....it really is my downfall LOL:o
Anyway today gonna finish sorting through clothes, get my baking stuff organised (as I've bought some new boxes). And I really must get the sewing machine out and get cracking on the adipose and tardis cuddle cushions. But I will probably still be saying that next week
I also want to Line my curtains (Someone on here gave me the idea of lining them with fleece blankets. And it is getting so cold up here in the hills.... I really am going to have to think about putting the heating on.
I really must get going on making things or I will still be making them for next christmas:o
Anyway guys hope you all have a nice day

Morning all!
Sounds like we're all getting things done, doesn't it! Despite the call of the kettle! :rotfl:
I cleaned my living room yesterday from top to bottom - so pleased with myself - even had my daughter helping. It looks ready for Christmas decorations now!!
Made stewed apples and some apple sauce (the chutney hasn't happened yet). And a tuna pasta bake for the freezer!
Scattymum1 - I did that last time my daughters' bedroom was cleared out!! What a difference the before and after photos were! Mind you, it's back to the 'before' state now so I'm going to try to tidy it today but more likely it will take all weekend! The great declutter 2010Money neutral and thrifty gifty for Christmas 2010 :xmassmile0 -

Hi, everyone, I'd like to join your group of crazy Christmasness!
Found this thread last weekend and it's taken me this long tp catch up! Was bored at work on Monday so started my little Christmas notebook and have been religiously carrying around with me since. Nearly had a heart attack yesterday when I went to use it and discovered it wasn't in my bag. After much panicking it turned out to be on my bedroom floor when I got home, just where I'd left it. I'm feeling like this doesn't bode well for my organisational skills :eek:much work to be done - new sig coming soon...0 -

I am going to make gingerbread man garland from salt dough for my flat but will leave that for a few weeks.0
