Morning from a very wet and wild Scotland!! A very good day to be sitting getting on with Christmassy crafty things!!! I think all of you who are making all these things for Christmas are great - the only thing I am attempting is Hama bead Christmas tree decorations - hardly difficult. I think I may be inspired next year to try some of your ideas!

Just wanted to add, I agree with pinkladymel - I love coming on here and finding out how you are all getting on. People are still looking at me as if I'm mad when I say I've done nearly all the Christmas shopping!!! :rotfl:

    Have a good day!

Going to bed last night I was full of good intensions of what I was gonig to get sorted today, finish my HM pressies, write my cards out etc but have woke up with the most stonking head ache ever. Typical, sick on a Saturday. Will keep you all up to date if I manage to get anything done, I am going back to bed.

Sounds like good intentions LouLou and with the OH out of the way who know what you could achieve haha :)

Gill (Wow I know your name now!) Your post started off sounding like The EuroVision song contest lol The bit where they announce their points giving.. "Morning from a very wet and wild Scotland!! ". Nothing wrong with Hama beads.. They keep me quiet for hours :D

Shevs Don't beat yourself up about it xx I know how much it sucks when you work yourself up for something then it all just gets ruined. Just lie in bed and dream of what things you want to do and special ideas :) Get well soon x

Ohhh Sarah Bargains!!! I love it when you post because you sound so like me.. more shopping less organising but hey.. the intentions are there.. right? :D

monkeymonkey Any one that panics over a notebook can more then join this thread :D How can you almost lose your sacred notes!! I can see though that you was in the midst of some exciting shopping!!

shelovestobuystuff I love your thinking with the making lists at the pc. If there is something I haveto do on the PC then I wont feel so bad for accidentally sneaking on this thread too :D

Logan everytime I see your name it gives me butterflies as that is the name of my little first born 3 year old :) I don't see many Logans. When I moved into this house someone had left loads of old christmas decorations in the loft and I thought what a bunch of crazy folk but you have done it too lol. How much fun will it be choosing from scratch!! When I first moved in here I let the shops choose my decorations and got sucked into their pretty things but 4 years down the line I realise I love the traditional and tacky red and gold rubbish my mom used to have and I replaced all my fancy things with Tacky trimmings :D

Emay I know what you mean about real life shops. I will be so sad if the shops start closing down. I know Woolworths is on its last legs and there are a lot of shops I loved as a kid that aren't here anymore. At the same time I am causing this because I keep shopping online but I just can't stop. The bargains are just incomparable. Glad you managed to get your bargain DVDs though.

Itsybitsygoth You reminded me I need cellophane! Loving the name..I am a 5'4 goth :p Well.. I was until I had kids and now I don't get the time to stick a CD on never mind paint my nails black haha.

:xmassign: 80 DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS! :xmastree:

Christmas time is coming fast then ever and there seems to be some panic (Mostly from myself) about falling behind in the planning. Remember, Christmas is a time for fun and planning is part of that. If we lag behind, we can rely on each other for some support and advice.. that's the reason I LOVE this thread :)

Ok SO a few things to catch up on:
    • Those of you who are confused about planning and organizedchristmas.com can find a basic guide in my first post. If you need any more help just post a message :)
    • Organizedchristmas.com has now created a site to help you with your planner which is much more easier to understand: http://christmasplanner.com
    • With all of this Christmas planning, have you remembered Halloween? Don't ignore the trick or treaters this year, make life easier on yourself by making up some food bags of sweets that are on special offer. I always find the 3 for 1 pounds bags of sweets from Asda make a lot of bags. Sugar laces and flying saucers.. you can't beat 'em!
    • Schedule Houseguests: Will your family host houseguests during the holidays this year? Overnight visitors can be a lot of fun--but hosting houseguests can also be stressful. Will you have sheets, blankets, towels or bedspace to welcome visitors?
Check with family, friends and calendars now to prepare for holiday overnighters. With plenty of time to prepare, your family will be warm and gracious hosts. (taken from OC website)
There is so much on OrganizedChristmas.com to get you going and brilliant tips every day to get you in the mood. Don't let it swamp you.. let it make you feel more powerful and in control this year.

If you need any help just ask:A

    It is sooooooooo cold!

I raided hubbys wardrobe today after I realised I wanted some baggy slouch jeans and that is all he wears. I found a pair that had been bought for him two years ago for Christmas that he hasnt worn cos they are a size to small.

I tried them on and low and behold they fit how they should even on a woman! Only problem is he is 6ft and I am a measly 5ft 4 but they feel so comfy!!! I can officially say they are mine haha.

I am making an apple pie for the first time and I have cinnamon in it and the whole house smells of Christmas YAY!!!!!

I cant believe how time is flying, am getting a little bit stressed about the lack of money I am going to have for xmas so am busy making lots of pressies for xmas with all my craft bits I have.

I have now written out all of my xmas cards and wrapped up the presents I have bought.

I cant wait till Xmas especially after missing last years xmas by having flu all over xmas.
