Hiya s23xy_c Don't worry about printing things out, you can just follow which every plan you like and to be honest.. your plan sounds great right about now :) The organizechristmas website is good for picking up tips of things to make and do everyday so you might want to pay it a visit for some ideas and to get in the christmassy mood. x

Hi Lamplady :) Welcome to the thread! I love the idea of having a little christmassy shopping online night with music and hot chocolate. Brilliant. I may even wear a santa hat ;) I think the present ideas you have thought of so far are brilliant. Have you looked on the jar thread? What about making them door hangers? In HomeBargains they have giant boxes of popcorn like at the cinema. You could get a cheap DVD (or 2 Disney for 15 in the BOGOF offer at the mo) and loads of sweets that are on offer in the run up to christmas and make some little family cinema night tickets. HTH x

sarahf How's that kettle hiding coming on :D Have you tried making a list of HM presents you have got to make and then collecting the bits together in a box so you can just pick it all up and start whenever you get a spare ten minutes?

scattymam I know what you mean about the stash.. It gets ontop of you doesnt it :s I love the feeling of that nice clean home when you have tidied frantically. Well done on achieving so much! I upload all of my photographs to photobucket and it is so quick and easy. Once you have signed up (free) it is done then on standby for christmas photos :D

Shevs Get your card list ready, get some gorgeous cards.. and leave them till the tree is up and the lights are on. Sit down with a nice film, a hot chocolate and some sparkly pens and get them all written out. I know we are supposed to have them done 2 weeks ago but hey.. I want some festivity!!

Hello Kalojac who has the oldest Logan on this thread :D We chose the name because my husband is called lee which apparentely comes from Lea: Meadow. When we looked up Logan it means little meadow. How cool is that! I am glad you came forth on this thread but now I am DYING to see your gift you have all made up :) Come on.. share!! I'm behind on OrganizedChristmas too but hey what can you do about it!

mum2one I like your reserve stash for emergency presents.. I don't blame you though after your story haha It made me really chuckle. Kids.. you don't know whether to leave them at a bus stop or hold them tight forever :)

Logan or should I say Stacey :D Is your boy mad on Thomas too.. If so that would be freaky LOL. This year both of the kids understand and are excited for christmas. Last year I thought they would be and they just didn't get it much. I am so excited it is hard to contain it but I am trying so they dont have to wait forever!! Where are you going to buy your decs from?

candyblue Have you wrote your list out of people to send gifts to and decided what you will do for each one? Sometimes when it is all listed out it can look so much better and clear your head of all that stress clutter. Don't stress about money.. Those that matter won't mind and those that do mind don't matter.

Dani85 Sounds like a good day to me! What did he say about his jeans accidentally disappearing :D Probably nothing when he saw you had made an apple pie.. mmmmmm.

furrypig I like to know people are in the same boat as me :D Makes me feel a bit more like I am allowed to slack off on MSE drooling over the home made gifts. hehe!

    Thanks for the tip pinkladymel.

I've got my list in my folder along with all the others LOL....

and the kettles still in the kitchen.

I think I might have to just go and pop the kettle on and then try and find a box to put everything in.

haha you know him so well!

Well my dads coming round later and that should be the end of painting the outside of the house. Im going to try and crack on with painting half of the kitchen today then the rest tomorrow when hubby is at work as im off work poorly at the minute as we had a bump in the car on Friday. Have to think of the cats too as I need to gloss the doorway that leads into their room so will have to do it first thing and let them upstairs so they can have a couple of hours exploring!
