I lost my notebook with the xmas gift lists in it last year and was frantic for 3 days before I found it.I rely on my notes so much so have kept my lists on the computer this year so I dont lose them or leave them lying around incase anyone else reads them."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

Thats my biggest fear at christmas time someone finding my little note book and discovering everything I have bought for them or not as the case may be. My BF is a bit a sneak and loves to have a rummage for Christmas pressies, even when I lived at home he'd go through my room. I used to have to hide them in my parents room so this year they are going there so he cant get his little mits on them0

if my kids went through my notes theyd find out about all their xmas gifts lol

:j Woolwoths xmas catalogue out and their seems to be some really good bargains in there:j
My tip with Woolworths, I order online through Quidco upto 8% cashback, unless its free delievery I opt for store pick up, so no queues, they give u a delievery date, then email reminder when its in, its all bagged up.
Couldn't remember which lovely lady on this thread was looking for a footspa they have one in woolies cataloge £13.

I don't get much done but being part of this thread just gets me feeling so festive and fills me with ideas and excitement. Not only that but I feel better about not achieveing everything my list is telling me, I have loads of lovely memories flooding back to me because you keep reminding me of things and also.. It is just so nice to be surrounded by like minded friends.
little chicken Sounds like you got a good bargain there! have you checked the best before dates?
Other peeps on the grab it now board say they're good 'til April '09. And thorntons mention christmas as part of their marketing, so they'd better be ok for christmas.
My Ace order arrived today, along with my free tin of roses (yes - more chocolate!) So I'm definitely on the right track.
I can't wait to tot up everything I've [STRIKE]spent[/STRIKE] saved this year because of this forum.:beer:Save me from spending...

Boots have got all their gifts out (well they have here in Grimsby), Bhs looked like they were setting up here too.
Just been and got my sis sorted, 5 dvd's for £30, (just shaved about 1% off her list, I think she's transfering all her vhs to dvd so luckily all old titles and in the bargin bins!!!)
Looking for Wii games on line, found the cheapest in HMV/Zavvi...pity the 'real' shops don't offer the same bargins or I could of got them while out instead of hoping they don't deliver while I'm at work and o/h wants to know what I've ordered0 -

AT LAST!! a forum for people who start their Christmas shopping/planning super early!! I'm running late this year, usually I start in September but having just got a new job and moved house everything has been a bit mad!!
Got my notepad out and starting to mull over what to get people. Money is extra tight this year as I've got a lot of debts to pay off so will have to be inventive with the presents! I'm thinking homemade hampers and giftsets.
Bought 20m of cellophane on ebay this afternoon to wrap things in, i'm going to have a wander around our local poundland soon for things for the hampers. My aim is to get/make most pressies for under a fiver.Overdraft- [strike]£500[/strike] PAID! Computer Loan- [strike]£292.67[/strike] PAID! Credit Card- £369.00 PCDL Loan- £6664.800 -
Morning Everyone[IMG]http://smileys.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/cat/36/36_15_61.gif[/IMG]
Good Day yesterday, Did some more jobs round the house (no hm pressies though ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH.... ) So I'm slowy crossing things off in my planner... Is everyone uptodate with all the printing on the planner?? Think I'm a bit behind but will do that later today.
Anyway managed a few bargins last night in sainsbury's. Got 3 large wooded Salad Bowls for 75p each (Will use for hampers I think) and Got some Dr Who Figures for £1.62 (Think these may have been mis-priced as they are the new ones)
Anyway hope to have a more productive day today on the homemade stuff.
Hope you all have a good day
Sarah
