Hi
Dont know if its any help, maybe nearer xmas but Argos do a gift finder, you have choices such as male/femail age group/ amount you want to spend they do come up with a pretty good selection.
I craftly recycle presents as well, its got to be done! I have got eye of couple of dd birthday presents, there too young for her........but she wants £5 a present!! We will have to discuss!!

I so do recycle presents as long as you remember who gave you what so you don't give that same thing back to the person you got it from...never done this yet - it would be so embarrassing.
If it's something I wouldn't use it would be such a waste, so give it to someone else and it saves you money - I'm sure martin would approve big time. If it's something I can't give to anyone I put it on ebay or car boot.
Call me a moo if you want...I got a freebie with a pair of walking boots and it's such a good little gadget I'm wrapping it up as an extra present for my dad - he will love it and will use it so why not?0 -

If I had the choice I would MAKE everyone's present as I got brought up like that, with the making things is more meaningful school of thought. But if it weren't for my husband - he thinks it's daft and stingey - and used to spend a fortune on christmas. I'll never forget my first christmas with him and how much he got from his family.0

I hate people who think that a present is worthless if it didn't cost a fortune. I have so many people like that to buy for and it's an annoyance. Who cares if what you give was a free gift or a little something hand made. WHo cares where it come from as long as it is a well thought out loving gift. Scattymam, you always seem like the loveliest thoughtful person and I think your presents sound great
I got the kids some letters from santa yesterday but I am going to sneakily keep them and scrapbook them:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
