Hi All!!
Went to stay with my mum and dad at the weekend to see my little bro off to uni!! So not much got done here although I did get into town and found a source of flannels for yule logs and reindeer! Morrissons have 4 flannels for 89p which is great!
Other than that (and being able to bring home the box of pressies I already brought but had no room for in the car) I haven't got much done. Really need to get some aida brought so I can work on making my Christmas cards!! Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -
Just discovered a downside to being organised. Bought my fella a 'gorillapod' for his camera yesterday cause they're half price in Asda. Today he mentioned he's gonna buy himself a tripod. How do I talk him out of it without letting drop I've already got him one? The rule in our family is, if you see something you want you can't buy it between October & Christmas day, it goes on your list...I'm a week early to use that on him!
What with all my kids birthdays being between 6th Nov - 2nd Jan this can be a nightmare!
I had a credit card statement through today for a card i dont use at the moment and it had just over £12 left on it so I have bought DS a CD he has asked for! It feels great - it feels like I haven't paid for it at all!Did it through Quidco too - so should get a little extra! I am loving this!

Just bought DS1 a DVD on play.com for 3.99 when I very nearly bought it on HMV for 6.99! And a memory card for his PSP (£11.98).0 -
Hope you dont mind if I barge in on the thread. :hello:
Well I think i am a little neurotics lol, have done all of my christmas pressies and have taken to sorting gifts out for my mum to give out now lol. I am in the process of making some things and still occasionally picking up small items that take my fancy in the shops but I don't need them as I have more then enough stuff.
I have 4 boxes like the following:
Here are some of the things I have made so far too:
isn't the best of photo's, but there are bath bombs, flannel muffins, candles, and the small jars that look like jam are bath saltsYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

Is everyone else upto date on the Grand Plan??
I'm no were near, even though I've only got a couple of more pressies to buy. I have given one lot of presents this week as I'm running out of storage space. I've made 4 extra meals for the freezer ( although I'm sure they will be eaten before xmas). I've got most of my craft supplies (need to buy some more as more Ideas have been posted) But not started my crafts yet or putting hampers together:o
I've done all my lists and done birthday ones too as both my boys are near christmas, I still feel that I have loads to do ARRRRRRRRRGGGGG!!!!
I feel so organised and unorganised at the same time

Where's the Coffee?? Show me the Coffee NOW!!0 -
Hi Sarah!
Glad someone else is falling behind like me!!
I have my list written for presents and cards and have almost half the pressies bought now I think and all the cards.
I am way behind on the HH plan!! Master bedroom still in need of help and not made it into the kids bedrooms at all yet!! Still need to sort out summer clothes properly (finally decided to stop waiting for summer to arrive!)
Also it's part of hhp to have started the chrimbo cards this week but failed that one too!
I will try harder had a busy week with work etc etc (but aren't they always!!)
Good luck everyone and do let as know how you plans are going xxx0 -
I'm behind on the cleaning (but I've got the best part of next week so the plan is to catch up then), My pressi collection is coming along nicely, cake ingredients bought & ready to go (will prob do mince pie pastry at same time & freeze...may as well make loads of mess at the same time!!!), Cards will get made once I've been to my class, and the freezer meals I have all the time anyway.
So I'm planned....just not actioning!!!!!!0 -
I seem to do a lot of planning and no actioning :S
I am doing the grand plan and so far have done the living room which the children are steadily reverting back to its old state. I feel frustrated and panicked!
12 weeks 6 days to go!
I sold some things on EBay and made 70 pounds so I am very chuffed with that.
With all of this I had forgot halloween!! I have learnt that hiding from the kids is such a risky and boring task so I just buy a load of sweets now and seperate them into food bags. When they knock I have a halloween basket and they take their sweets.:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0
