Organised Christmas 2008.. The countdown has begun!

I'm going to have to be very organised this year, will be a change from previous years as not normally very organised.

This year I will be having 16 on Christmas Day, normally I go to my parents house but this year I am having everyone on Christmas Day, including family who are coming home from Australia for Christmas.

Got my order from Tesco direct, thou had dd in mood for an hr as i wouldnt let her open the bags.......the disney curtains and rug are lovely, her rooms going to look fab.

Hubby was watching footie today. ZZZZZzzzzzzz! So I sat and wrote most of my christmas cards out. I'll probably forget where I've put them by christmas! LOL

Wow writing christmas cards out already.. I have still got to make mine ARGH! To make them I need to clean my room that has 7 bin bags of things in from downstairs so I am going to swap my organisedchristmas plan about a bit!

I'm trying to get rid of all the cards I currently have so that next year I can make some really lovely ones - how's that for forward planning?!?

I should be of work from the end of October, so I can really get going on making some gifts for people. I'm definitely going to do some of the cakes/cookies in a jar.

I've had really great day today - weather was gorgeous here - got loads of washing out on the line!

DD1 managed another Hama bead christmas tree decoration (that makes three done, about fourteen to go!!) plus I got most of our room cleaned and tidied (didn't manage OH side of the bed but that's not so important!!)

It is print out night tonight but I am so behind so I am going to skim it over for good hints and tips then try to get some oomph into my energy levels and get going!

Survived the party - 24 children said yes, 28 turned up, luckly I had done a batch of food for the adults incase any stayed. I had 6 stay, so went off brilliantly.
Took some planning, but I got the parenst to prechoose the kids food, so they all had their own party box, went down a treat, hardly any food wasted, and the parents couldnt get over them. Few brownie points for me!

A couple of duplicate presents, so got eye on them for emergeny xmas prezzies, dd cottoned onto this and wanst £5.00 per present!

DD actual birthday end of month, so can get more christmasy by then.

This is the problem I have as my ds#1's bday is Nov, dd is December and ds2 is early jan! :eek:
