Mandy, I am so sorry to hear you have that playing on your mind right now. I hope things improve for you. Have you thought about using christmas tree ornaments as gift tags then they can be put on the tree as a special decoration so 2 gifts in one.
Siren I bought the lovely red one from my Primark. Last year they had a gorgeous chocolate coloured one and I sent it to my friend but it got lost in the post:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
Already started this morning, catching up with the cleaning for living room and entrance way so I can get uptodate. Just about to clean the windows, my neighbours will wonder what's wrong with me!!!
I'm on a roll now as I skipped to my daughters room yesterday(it really needed doing). I got rid of another two carrier bags of rubbish and put 2 bags of unused/outgrown stuff into the loft. But I was disgusted at myself at the dust! I was sneezing and wheezing and I let my daughter sleep in there so I overhauled it. The trouble is the windows can only be opened from the bottom - dangerous, she would jump out cos she thinks she's peterpan. So I'm going make a conscious effort to open the windows more often while we're out. It's kicked me up the bum to get everything sorted.
Going to shop today at Netto's - pick up some extra tins to put away for christmas and buy the bits and pieces to try out making fudge for presents, going to buy stamps today also.
Ooh scrap that about buying tins- my MIL has just been on the phone and said she doesn't want to get us stuff we don't use plus she has no ideas for my husband so she's going to put together food hampers for us :T :j - yippee, that will come in handy at christmas. I love my MIL, how many people can say that eh?
Off to clean some more - bye bye xxx:xmassmile0 -
You have all inspired me to get off my bum and clean up.
Yesterday I wrote a list of rooms I want to tackle.
For yesterday I had kithen & back kitchen and I got them both done.
I also took my 3 children to lidl after school  to get something for tea and cooked and had my husbands tea ready when he got home. (not something that happens very often lol:rotfl: )
On my list for today was the bathroom , hall stairs and landings. I made myself get out of bed when H got up with Ru at 6.45 and had them all done by 8am :T
Tomorrows job is our room so I will start that later once H is home to look after Rubes.
We are going to Cov on Sunday to visit nephew who was 1 this week so will not get anything done.
The boys room is booked in for Monday.
Once its all done I can get up to the loft and start looking what presents I have.

I have not done the housework lists yet, maybe wont bother as I hate doing housework anyway. We have the builders finishing off today so we will be doing some finishing touches to decor etc for xmas but as little as possible."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -

Halfcost have a 4 for 3 promotion on christmas items so that along with the code posted by pinkladymel (thankyou) saved me over £20 so well chuffed.0 -

Have managed to finish my dads present bar getting him some small dipping sauces. He so far has a book of sauces, a book of dressings, a jamie oliver flavour shaker and 6 packs of herbs to grow in his garden. Am going to include a picture from my little boy in there too and possibly a school picture of him.
Have been lookign at decorating date and had a nice surprise form boyfriend - he has arranged to take me chrismtas shoppign to Hereford for christmas (we livein south wales) and he said hereford is a little sort of oldie town - no big fancy shoppign centres but nice little street market and little oddd shops - love it already - only problem is he wants to go december 1st so i wont be decorating until wednesday 3rd december so that is when our chrismtas visitor will arrive
Also I did a christmas elf name generator game and put in my little boys name which is Benjamin P
t and it generated his name to
MERRY SPARKLY TOES and mine was decoded as Cheerful Tum-Tums. Think I prefer merry sparkly toes better.Time to find me again0
