Is this where we sign up for the Christmas obsessed?? :rotfl:
I've already warned DH that Christmas music might be played occasionally over the next 2 months while I work on various Christmas projects. He knows that anytime from November to January it's practically a given that it will be playing. He's used to it.
I haven't been to that planning website yet. I'm almost scared to go. I may never leave the computer and get things done, instead I'll just be planning til next June! But I am starting to get organised. We just moved into our house in June, so we still have tons of DIY and decorating to do, as we have to do it around DH's work schedule. We have an open fireplace in this house (didn't in our previous one), and I am SO excited about having a fire in the fireplace in the evenings approaching the holiday season. Just seems so festive. I've mentioned it so many times that DH may be thinking I'm a pyromaniac or something and will hide the matches! :rotfl:

I have set up my little work station and have put a ban on anyone coming near it & messing up all my lovely lists.
BF(The Grinch, I am sure I spotted a little patch of green skin on him the other day) thinks I am bonkers but I did warn him that I do Christmas in a big way so he has no excuse he was forwarned!!!!!0 -
Hi all!
I'm getting bored now as I only have one more craft present to make and then I have no more supplies!! Will have to wait until the weekend at least to pick some stuff up. I want to get all the making stuff done now and then we can budget for thing we have to buy.
Triggles - my mum and dad have always had an open fire and it is the best thing about winter/Christmas. It makes you feel so warm and fuzzy inside and you can get pine scented cones to pop on them and they give off a gorgeous Christmassy smell. Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -
Siren - if you're that bored you can hot foot it up here and do some of my 'creations'...........or at least finish what I've started.
To do list:
Finish off door hangers..........two not even started yet
Stuff baby socks with lavender (or something) for grandson to pop in his trainers to keep them sweet
Stick labels on gravy tins so I have 'canned sunshine' and 'canned rainbows'
Soak box to get label off ready for sons retro sweet box to be done
Do sock snowmen - now I've been and bought the socks
Cover notebooks for grandchildren
Buy jars from somewere -anywhere - for 365 facts/quotes
Make more pickled bums to fill jar -another one for grandson
Do 'safe keeping' jars for grandchildren
Oh.......and sort out all the stuff thats strewn across the spare bed -sort out whats for who and make more christmas cards for Mums care home.
I'm now worn out :eek:Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Hehe!
Its not that I've nothing to do it that I don't have the stuff to do it. Which is really frustrating lol:beer: Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -

I did a cybercrop on a scrapbook supply shop about a month ago anyway I made a card in one of the classes and I won...hence the prize was loads of lovely FREE craft/scrapbook supplies - there are quite a few comps about if you search for them - some shops run a weekly competition where you get a voucher to spend in their shop. It's good if you're feeling guilty about spending and you have no more stuff left siren.0
