I am decluttering the toy box in the living room - getting so stressed cos DD is playing with everything I sort and it looks like an avalanche hit. I need to get some plastic boxes or cases to hold all the little bits together but can't go til about 9.00 tonight to get any! Have decluttered husbands xbox storage hamper - oo er.
It will be amazing when it's done though as I have lifted 2 carrier bags of rubbish from the toy box alone...making room for christmas toys I guess. Straight off to the skip with the rubbish - handy as my hubby works right next to it and I'm picking him up today.
We're watching mickeys twice upon a christmas while we do it. My daughter picked it...honest.0 -

Shevs.. Kick that man into touch! Even the grinch turned out nice so it CAN be done!! My daughter ripped my lists out of my notepad this morning NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I will have to start a new notepad now!!
Siren and Mary you two are putting me to shame with all your crafting. We want pics!! I haven't even got the ideas to write down yet let alone the work done.
JayJay Thanks for the excellent help on the roast potatoes I am going to do them and it will make me feel like I have achieved something. Brilliant idea thanks a lot.
Pretz.. you poor thing that sounds like some wild partying though!!

pinkladymel - don;t have all the hi tech stuff to put piccys on (maybe just as well.............lol) and I haven't done that much...........made a list of 'stuff to do' and the ideas are there but so far I've covered two gravy granule tins with labels for canned sunshine (sherbet lemons) and canned rainbows (rainbow drops) for grandchildren and got a pile of half done door hangers.............lol
Picked some lavender out the garden yesterday to fill (I thought) little baby socks (link them together with length of ribbon so one goes inside each trainer overnight.......or pop them in a sock drawer......thats the idea) well, nowhere near enough lavenderso gonna have to buy some I think or mix it with some other smelly stuff.
OH just suggested mixing sweets with quotes in a tin -just realised I've a couple of really pretty tubular ones upstairs that would do. He reckons it would be more interesting to take a sweet out at the same time as a quote.......lol So, I'm going to do that instead of banging my head on a brick wall about when I'll get to Poundland for jars .................:pMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Hiya Mary
What about if you had quite big sweets in the jars and wrapped the quote around it and tied with ribbon? It would look so pretty
I love your ideas so far they sounds so thoughtful and I bet everyone will feel so loved when they open your presents this year.
Oh forgot to say CONGRATULATIONS scattymam on your prize:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
Ok so am I allowed in here to ask a silly question?
Whats the idea then? do I just buy a notebook, make it all pretty and record things in it? can someone put it in easy terms for me as I haven't got the energy to read back through 8 pages. sorry.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0
