Today I'm doing an inventory of the kitchen: what food do I have, and how long can I manage without going shopping for more than milk and fresh veg?
I'm also going to Ikea when I'm finished to buy some exciting and interesting things, and to pillage their food section too.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

This year Thomas the Tank engine has released a whole new load of things and my son is in love with them all. For anyone who has a Thomas fanatic, here are some great deals I picked up this week!!
Thomas and echo cave:
39.99 but on offer at Tesco.com for 20 and there is a voucher for 5 off 20!

Am in the process of emptying the living room out into bags but there is 4 years of two babies growing into toddlers in that room and it is like a jumble sale!

Reading this thread has mnade me all giddy inside!!
I am so excited already its unbelieavable.
I've gotten myself a little note book and decorated it and I have my HUGE list of things to get done by Christmas. I think I'll get through it if I work my jackssy off! Also got my list started for Christmas presents and things. I didn't realise how much I loved lists!!!!!:xmastree: :snow_laug Christmas Nutter :snow_laug:xmastree:0 -
I spent another £10 at halfcost this morning *blushes*
But I did get 16 stained glass corners for windows (grandmother) and two magnetic heated neck wraps (mum and grandmother), also a candle in a whisky glass (partner, who has a disturbing obsession with reclaimed glasses - we have Nutella-jar glasses and ex-candle glasses galore) and 30m wrapping paper.
I've planned my meals for this week, and I can definitely get by until the end of the week and probably beyond without buying anything but milk and bread.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

For the Doctor Who Treasure Boxes I have saved 2 shoe boxes and I'm planning on recycling old Doctor who mags/ Pics printed of the net and sticking them on the box in like a collage type of way??? Then Putting their names on the lids, Then Giving them a coat of PVA Glue and hopefully they will look good
Never done it before so they may come out totaly wrong, but I will post pic's when I get round to doing them.
You could do any theme on them but my 2 boys are mad on Dr Who and it is so expensive I'm trying to make things as Dr Who as Possible to save some pennies LOL
So if anyone has any other dr who inspired ideas please please share :A
