Sounds blissfull Gangstabird. Lots of organza ribbon, gingham shapes, wooden ornaments. A very traditional and beautiful tree

WELCOME LILEY!! I know what it is like to run about on christmas eve with a hungry baby and a stroppy child in tow so lets get organised together and this year we will be allowing our husbands to go run about whilst we sit back with a christmas film
shelovestobuystuff..ahh there is a name that strikes a chord with me lol I am glad you got some bargains today. I find Woolworths so disorganised sometimes.. it is like they are still living in the dark ages!

aaaaggggghghhhhhhhhh - I'm getting so excited - I could scream - but I won't cos the kids asleep. Have made a christmas card today but my camera battery has bust so I can't show it off on here.
Have started on the living room and already have most of my cards bought in sale in january so that's done. Going to make a shepherds pie tomorrow for the freezer(I'm doing the holiday grand plan by the way). Asking myself the questions at the moment. Won some vintage polly pocket things in ebay for my daughter today - we love the old fashioned type and I won about 10 things for £8.50 so I'm putting them away for christmas.0 -
Ooh I want to join please!!!!!! I absolutley love Christmas!!!! I have some great memories of christmases as a kid......and some rather pants ones......but I just love trying to think of new things to do and new little traditions that will be great memories for my kids.......oh no I'm getting soppy! Lol totally agree about the coca cola add to me that is the OFFICIAL start of Christmas, and I go mental as soon as I see it and do a little dance!!!!!I know I should be ashamed but I'm really not!!!!!have started organised Christmas and am ashamed to say that I have gone ahead once I finished this weeks, but I'm going to try and rein myself in otherwise the turkey will be in the oven by the end of september!!!!well so far, I havnt actually bought hardly anything yet as we have had a major re jig this month with me starting a new job and uni so need to wait till next month for the finances to settle down but have ordered a couple of books out of the book club ds brought back from nursery, a touch and feel bear one for baby and the hungry caterpillar for ds, how bloomin vintage is that lol? And I have gone through my wrapping paper so know want I need to get, so am limiting myself to cards and paper this month, then next month the fun begins!!! Sorry for the ramble, no one here really understands my obsession, I would start chatting to ds but I think at 4 a 100 odd days is a bit long to wait once he thinks its coming!!if I don't get get a release of all my Christmas mutterings I swear they are going to start coming out like turrets(sp?) and ill be at the in laws for dinner and start shouting out........CHRISTMAS PUDING.........CRACKERS..........!!!!!!oh dear!April Grocery challenge(total/spent) £200/£75.530

oh Gemma that made me LMAO! I love that.. christmas tourettes (sp??) You can stay if you got the hungry caterpillar!! What a fine mother you are!!
You lot are starting to make me feel like it is acceptable to be excited about christmas and I am letting myself get carried away hahaa. CALM says I to myself. Halloween has just hit my Asda... next stop.. CHRISTMAS!!
German market is on every year at birmingham. It is too flipping busy with two kids though so last year I didn't go and just took the kids to a local santa. I can honestly say I didn't miss itit is beautiful though.
scattymam you are putting me to shame. I have not even touched on what the living room needs! The downstairs toilet became a dumping ground for things and i'm not kidding it was floor to ceiling with tools and toys etc. Had to clean it all out for the kids and for the passageway to put lee's drum kit in because at the moment it is sitting in my christmas tree space!:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0
