Good stuff! Yougov certainly takes a while, but it will come eventually.

  • Thanks Karmacat.

I have signed up to Jessops Picture House via Quidco and earned £3.00, bringing my total now up to £40.15 :j I quite like this. I did have to spent £1.68 on postage for the photo’s to be sent but still can’t grumble as it is £1.32 profit not to sniffed at.
  • Morning,

God I hate taking tablets! I am fed up to the back teeth now of constantly taking them and I am fed up that I cannot sleep because of pain! Sorry for the whinge I’m just a bit peed off this morning.

I am going to make shepherds pie for dinner and get it in the oven ready for this evening.

Anyway on to today, the plan is as follows:
    • [strike]Pay car tax online[/strike] Done
    • [strike]Sort out DH’s skillcard renewal[/strike] Done
    • Park with the kids if it isn’t raining
    • Finish washing DS’s school uniform
    • Dinner
    • [strike]Clicks and surveys[/strike] Can be classed as done as clicks are done & surveys will be done as they arrive
Have a good day all and I’ll update later if I get chance.
  • Forgot to add I need to nip to the Doctors to get a repeat prescription this morning.

Well, thats not going too badly - don't forget that prescription, is that the painkillers? Keep nagging at them about the op, won't you? I woke up with a slight headache this morning and was *extremely* grumpy till it had gone, I hate even a nagging pain. Take care.

  • Hi Karmacat,

The prescription is for the mild sedative that is supposed to help me sleep, not too convinced that it works all that well and I also need some anti-inflammatories.

The operation is booked for the 10th October which is the earliest that they can do it, not long to wait.

(((hugs)) for you re your headache, I hate them. You'd think that they'd have come up with a cure for headaches by now instead of just taking pills. Glad that you are better though now.

  • Just a quick update before I feed the sproglets.

This afternoon I have signed up to a few sites:
    iPoints – 220 points
    Cashbackkings - £1.15
GetPoundsBack – amount unknown as yet, waiting for site to update. I did sign up for a music trial for £4 and must remember to cancel it and the DD before I go for my operation.

I feel quite chuffed about my earnings this week as it all adds to my September total :)

Was a NSD and we didn’t go to the park as it wouldn’t stop raining; kids have thus been driving me nuts!!!!

Good news also is that I have done everything on my list that I set out to do this morning :D

    Hi Tea,

sorry i havent popped in for a couple of days ; have been busy with work & keeping up tabs on builders & car repairs.

Well done you for achieving everything on your list today. I should really do a list early every morning like you & then I can do the crossing uot when I've achieved it ( if I achieve it more like  ).

I'm so glad you have a date for the op & in the meantime I'm sending virtual hugs & chocolate your way. It will be such a relief to not have the pain anymore, it is just so wearing when its constant, I think :A for continuing to fight the debt battle & care for your littlies at the same time.

I must pop over to my thread now so take good care of yourself - are you able to have a smidgen of alcohol while on painkillers ? Bad luck if not hon :(

    Lula x
  • Sorry not had chance to update my diary up until now today as I have been mega busy.

I have been doing quite a bit on the cash back sites and surveys etc. This has netted me a profit of £9.25 in two days to come off my total for September and the debt :)

I went to Tesco’s this morning to get my top up shop and spent £20, but I did buy two joint of meat so that I can make a casserole and a hot pot at some point next month.

The shopping was delivered too and duly put away and tonight we are off to the pub for a drink with some friends of ours :)

I doubt that I will be able to update over the weekend as my brother is coming down to visit and we have a lot of other things to do before DS starts school on Monday...heck he is getting big now, doesn't seem two minutes since he was a baby.

Will try to get online but if not, have a good weekend everyone
  • Apologies for the delay in updating my diary today but I have yet again been very busy.

I put in a repeat prescription to the doctors on Thursday last week which I picked up this morning, so I am now sorted with the anti-inflammatorys and sedatives for a while.

I have been quite pleased and surprised this month with the two challenges I have been doing and although I will be unable to do the Make £10 a day in October due to being out of action for most of the month I am going to be doing the NSD challenge again. The challenges really do make a difference especially to how you think about money and how you can save it :)

Here is my weekly list of totals for the various things DH and I have been doing:
    DH’s Pigsback account: 775 points
    My Pigsback account: 918 points
    DH Valued Opinions: £9.25
    My Valued Opinions: £7.50
    DH Lightspeed: 5 points
    My Lightspeed: 15 points
    DH Pureprofile: £3.50
    My Pureprofile: £17.40
    Quidco: £40.41
    DH’s Juicy Brains: £2.25
    My Juicy Brains: £9.50

    YouGov: £1.00
    One Poll: £3.85
    iPoints: 250 points
    Surveys.com: Unknown
    CashBackKings: £1.28
    GetPoundsBack: £4.25

I have asked EagerLearner for his guide to daily clicks thingy so that I can attempt to get even more money in the bank, so will let you know how that goes.

I got an e-mail through from Lightspeed before asking me to do a two part survey thing which would have eventually netted me 1500 after 8 weeks, but I got screened out  Blast!!! Oh hum.

Shopping has duly been ordered and I managed to save £7.12 :) this week due to free delivery again and some other deals. I am trying to get as much shopping delivered as possible of the things that we need so that when I am recovering from my operation DH doesn’t get into a flap about things running out.

Other news is that my mum is coming down to see me the week before DB gets wed and she is bringing down washing powder, fabric softener, stain remover stuff that goes in with the wash, washing up liquid and bath stuff for the kids. She has a Macro card and is able to get me the stuff cheap saving me tons for a few months :T
