Have a good one, Purpletea! Good job the car deal is so do-able. I'm plugging away, but haven't done well on getting back into matched betting, so I must do that this week.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi Karmacat,
I haven't yet ventured into the matched betting...way too scary for me.
Just visited your thread, well done on your list so far...I got some jobs here that need doing if you want them too???0 -
Hi Tea,
just popping in quickly to say hello & welcome backhopefully your good car news will rub off on me too
Take care hon & get plenty of rest, Lula x0 -
Morning all,
God I feel rough this morning, I was having such a nice time with DH and mum last night that I drank far too much wine and am now slightly hungover. That'll teach me! I won't do that again in a hurry; I'm blaming it on my age and that I've had two kids
Anyway on to today, not a NSD I'm afraid. I need to get DH's contact lenses and some toothpaste for the kids as well as going shopping for clothes/shoes for the wedding for the kids.
DH has taken lunch again today, they got a new microwave on the new site that he is on and it promptly blew up, so he's back to sandwiches until a new one is delivered. He's pretty pleased as he is all for saving the money despite fretting about it all.
Have a good day everyone....off to get motivated now.0 -

What a cold and snowy morning it is! Hope everyone gets wrapped up nice and warm...you need it!
I do not have a hangover todayhowever I now have a stinking cold
that is so not going to look good on the wedding pics on Saturday.
Anyway I have ordered this weeks food shopping and have saved £6.16, last week I saved £7.39 and I put £37 change from the demi-john in to the savings account too; I going to transfer the money over that I have saved this week and update my signature too.
Catch you all later.0 -
We don't have snow here yet, but it is certainly very cold.
Those savings are good, and certainly all add up - keep going!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
When you keep a close eye on what you've saved, *and* you put it by, its so encouraging, isn't it! Well done you. I'm afraid I've kind of lost my place in my grocery challenge - it was over too many months, and I've found I can only do one challenge at a time (*I'm* a bit challenged, lol!) but its certainly made me more aware of what I'm doing with food.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
