Sorry to hear you feel sick, Tea, thats horrible when you've got to keep going cos of the children. I don't know *how* you managed to get your pigsback points up that high, well done - seems like there's nothing there now for me, ever - I think I've managed ten points in the last month, crazy.

I approve of the tea drinking too!

  • Just an update as feeling very tense and need to put things down on paper.

I took DD to the doctors, her eye infection isn't bad enough to warrant any drops etc we've just got to bathe it; however she has a small lump under her lower jaw to the back where her throat is, the doctor is of the opinon that it is a thyroglossal duct cyst which develops when the foetus is developing.

She now has to go to see a consultant next week so he can have a look and decide whether or not he wants to operate to remove it...she's only 2! Since she has been born she has had 3 bouts of bronchialitis, a severe inner-ear infection all of which she was hospitalised for as well as inhailers to help her breathe when the weather's carp.

On the other hand, the gutterman is supposed to be coming round to sort the gutter out.

The kids and I have had chocolate cake for pudding after lunch.

I'm going to now put the rubbish out, sort the washer out, wash up and do some ironing.

Sorry to go on a bit but I'm beside myself.

I hpoe everything is ok with your DD and she doesnt need any surgery. at least they are getting her seen quickly for it so you are not left worrying for weeks/months. It sounds like you are having a rough week, i hope you are all feeling better soon. I know the thought of an operation is scary when she is so tiny but they will only do if if they feel it is safe for her and children bounce back so quickly from these things. we will all be here to virtually hold your hand when she goes to the consultant.

    Hi Tea,

first of all I'm sending you a big :grouphug: , you're having a rubbish day you poor thing :(. I'm with you on the being sick - it's my least favourite of all ailments. Your poor DD too, poor little thing has had so much to cope with.

    Bad gutter men  .

I recommend another nice cup of tea & some cuddles on the sofa with kidlets & more chocolate cake. I do hope things improve for you soon & that DD doesnt need to have an op - think you've had your fair share of hospital visits for a while.

    Love & hugs to you

    Lula xx
  • Sorry that I haven’t updated for ages but all of us has been poorly, with one thing and another.

This is going to be a bit of a ramble so free to shut your eyes at anytime and skip to the end at any point.

Good things that have happened this past week:
    · DS and I both found £1 each
    · FSCS have paid out compensation for Icesave, waiting on DH’s to come through then we can look at re-investing the ISA’s
    · DS is now having lunch at school from today and his best friend is having school meals too and not a packed lunch so they are going to sit together.
    · The kids and I are meeting DS’s best friend and his brother at the soft play centre on Wednesday.
    · DH has realised that we aren’t as bad off as first thought as this will be the third month we won’t have gone over the overdraft so won’t we need to borrow money to clear it.
    · The loan to SiL is going down…always a good thing.

I didn’t get to do too many clicks last week but the totals on the money side of things are as follows:
    DH’s Pigsback account: 830 points
    My Pigsback account: 1038 points
    DH Valued Opinions: £1.75
    My Valued Opinions: £9.25
    DH Lightspeed: 225 points
    My Lightspeed: 445 points
    DH Pureprofile: £6.30
    My Pureprofile: £19.30
    Quidco: £13.99
    DH’s Juicy Brains: £2.25
    My Juicy Brains: £5.00
    YouGov: £3.50
    One Poll: £8.65
    iPoints: 1132 points
    Other cashback sites: £85.41

Out of the compensation from FSCS, the frozen Christmas fund totaled £500 this has gone over to the savings account as an overpayment to SiL; I also saved £2.33 on the shopping last week and this week I have saved £9.82 on the shopping, so I can update my signature appropriately.

Today we are going to see a mate of mine as it is his birthday and my only aim this week is to keep up with the washing and clear the ironing.

    Catch you later.

    Morning Tea,

sorry to hear you've all been ill & hope you're on the mend now.

Great news on the compensation & sound like you're doing really well if you havent gone into overdraft for 3 months :D .

I'm trying to be a bit more relaxed about stuff this month & not be over scroogey as it just makes me miserable & that's very unfestive.

Must dash now but will pop back soon

    hugs,
    Lula
