Hi Lunar, I wish I was organised the trouble I have is that if I don't write it down then it doesn't get done.

I promise I'll save you some and you can have it tomorrow.

    Thanks :D
  • Morning all,

Well last night didn't quite turn out to be the less alcohol I intended; DH has a major problem on site due to yesterday's events thankfully none of it is his fault, he's very careful and is hot on H&S, but rather someone elses stupidity but it has resulted in the HSE now being involved, I'm just glad that no one died.

Anyway whinge over and on to today. We have a very busy day today, DS is at school but was complaining this morning that he doesn't feel well and DD is at playgroup this morning, this afternoon we are at soft play.

I also need to nip to Tesco's before playgroup for something to add to dinner for this evening.

    Have a good day everyone.

That sounds bad, Tea, it must have been a shock to both of you. Hope it gets resolved quickly.

  • Hi Karmacat,

It's only bad for DH in the sense that if he'd not been delayed be someone he'd have been the one in hospital last night and not some other poor chap as he was meant to be in that area when the accident happened.

As he's part of the management team he was roped into a meeting yesterday and he's in another one as their boss is on site today.

    Hi Tea,

so relieved your DH ok, still shakes you up though.

Well done on all your chores - I still havent done the bathroom :o

Good luck with the alcohol reduction, as Karmacat says it will put a spring in your step ;)

  • Afternoon,

Back from soft play and a busy day to boot, I took £20 with me and some orange juice and it cost me £12.70 as I got DS in as a three year old :) I have however got three £2 coins now for my terramundi in the change so everyone is happy.

Spoke to DH this morning and the person that caused the accident has been mentioned in the internal investigation report and the 'big' bosses are now involved too so not looking good for that person and the site is still closed.

Ho hum off to do homework with DS...wish me luck!
  • What a dark and dismal day it looks out there, I think that the season is definitely changing now.

Well today is a NSD for me; I need to nip to Boots to get DH some shower gel but I am using my points for that so no money spent.

My list for today is as follows:
    • Boots for shower gel
    • Post MiL birthday card
    • Make dinner – Lamb hotpot
    • Hoover upstairs
    • Change beds
    • Washing to be done
    • Iron 10 items of clothing
    • Daily clicks and surveys

That should keep me busy again for a while.

Hope everyone has a good day and I’ll update later.

Thats a good list - busy but do-able. I'm going to try to focus outside the computer today, I went mad on qype yesterday, and its a bit much. The kitchen and the accounts, and thats about it. See you later.
