Quick update now I am back from the doctors and I can confirm that I have not spent anything, apart from the prescription that is and that was a need.
The money that I have been transferring over to the savings account so that I can eventually make an overpayment has been working so am pleased with that and today DH’s expenses of £287.80 got paid in :T , so I am going to make a payment of £7.80 over to the savings account as an overpayment.
DH gets paid in 10 days time and so far we are being very careful and I am very pleased, I guess it does help that I cannot and will not drink. Just wait ‘til I have had the operation!
Off to update my signature.0 -
Just an update as I won’t get chance to do another one ‘til Sunday as very busy tomorrow.
I have applied for a savings account from HSBC via Quidco earning me £20, I hope, and have been accepted; just got to wait 5 days for the paperwork to come through, this is for my emergency fund, the Alliance & Leicester one is currently for the general savings and the overpayment and the Icesave one is for Christmas only, I do not think that I need another one now.
I also noticed that I have £2.35 more in Quidco than previously thought, so that can come off my total too for the September challenge.
I also completed a survey for Valued Opinions earlier and earned a whopping 50p.
Right off to make the kids dinner, have a good evening all and catch up on Sunday.0 -

I'm not too sure what I did, my lower back started hurting about 7 weeks ago, I went to see the Doctor and he put me on Diclofenac which had no effect so I got referred to see a specialist and did it through DH's health insurance through work.
It appears that I have a herniated disc but mine is so bad that I need an operation to sort it out.
Tea

Thanks Gillypen, so do I.
It is more painful first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
At least childbirth wasn't as bad as this....that stopped after a while.0 -
Morning all,
Very tired this morning and my hip is going manic to say the least and I am very tired. DH is working at the flying club today and he has given me strict instructions not to do anything and to ring him if I need him; so it might be a case of drinking tea and eating chocolate. Although I have to nip to Boots this afternoon but am using my points so today will be a NSD.
Did a few clicks and comps yesterday and plan to do some more today.
Have a good day all and will update later if I get chance.0 -
I have just checked Quidco and I made £20.96 yesterday. So very pleased with that off to update my total.
I have done some more clicks today but still have the comps to do.0 -
Yet another day, hope everyone is alright today?
Woke up this morning with the most awful pain imaginableam awaiting a phone call consultation from the doctors this morning as the pain killers prescribed aren’t touching the pain.
So far it has been a NSD and will be for today as I do not need to buy anything
I have got clicks and comps today and am trying to get my head around the Quidco daily clicks thing, so far I have only managed 6p a day…still it’s better than nothing.
DH gave me three £2 coins yesterday so these have gone into my terramundi
Going to order the food shopping today too.0 -
Morning tea,
sorry to hear you're in so much pain still, big hugs ((())) for you, glad you have a caring DH.
Well done on the quidco, will pop back later to see how you are,
