Is your DD still away Stef?

    Haribo x

she's back on sunday for good. She came home from canada last monday and then went to France on the tuesday evening for 3 days camping followed by 7 days in a gite. She is never ever ever going camping again as the Great Gods of Camping are against her. On the first morning a wasp crawled under her top and stung her - in her panic she flapped and was stung again. She has been scalded, burned, flooded and on one occasion was bitten by something which swelled her foot up and left a poison track halfway up her leg so she's calling it a day now. This bit of her summer hasn't been too bad for me because of the 5 day trip to Reading but i have missed her

    hugs Morwenna and the frugalswans
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

I knew she was back from Canada but was wondering when she got back from France. I wondered why you were so quiet :p but I forgot about Reading. Bless her.... I hope she recovers from all her accidents. She'll be looking forward to getting home. ;)

    Hello folks
(((hugs))) to those under the weather.
Sybil - could you leave a note as a reminder for yourself with your tablets? Maybe on the fridge door?

    w

I am so grateful I started to skim this post. Because, yes, I had forgotten to take my happy pill again and two in a row gives me real problems!

I have to get my courage up tomorrow. I want to take little bear into town on the bus by myself for the first time (he is 20 months :o I am so silly about this :o) I am so dreading it, but it is dear heart's birthday tomorrow, and I want to buy him a cake, so I am going to gather my courage in both hands, get the 9am bus, so I will be paying more fare but it won't be full, go to Marks & Spencer for a nice cake and something special for tea and then home. I am so scared of doing this and I know I am being silly. I will let you know if I manage to or not.

Little bear has had a very grumpy day. I suspect lack of nap and teeth. However, if this carries on I think I will have to get him into the Health Visitor because while he does not seem poorly 'in himself' he is not his usual happy self. I do not expect to have a full night's sleep.

Enough of my silliness - hugs to Morwenna (they are so silly to miss the chance of getting you! I am sure you will find somewhere that really appreciates you). Hugs also to Frugalswan - it will work out, I promise you and you will have so many stories to tell when conversations turn to weddings. I know someone who got married the day after the Great Storm in 1987 and what with one thing and another were two hours late at the church! Love will find a way, I am sure! That may be very trite, but I believe that it is also amazingly true.

Good evening everyone, well nearly goodnight!

We're down in not-so-sunny-Sussex. Have seen my DGD twice since we have been here, check my new profile pic on facebook, 4 generations together awwwwww. I don't know why I look so anxious in it :rotfl:

Am sorry but have only skimmed the daily while we have been here so grouphugg.gif for all those in need.

Not sure what we are doing tomorrow, taking parents to Eastbourne on Thursday, then back down there again on Friday to see DS (aparently the only free time he has) am not using that smiley as 'confused' more of a 'whatever'. Can't believe I can have two kids so different!.
Going to dinner with DD either Thurs or Fri night, then back home on Saturday. Not done running round to catch up with old friends this time, wanted to spend time with family and a bit of OH and myself going off by ourselves. Had a lovely walk round Lewes this afternoon, just the two of us. Although a lot of shops have changed since I worked there errrrrrr 25 years ago:eek: it still looks the same.

Have a good day tomorrow xx

Taplady, my oldest DD will enrol at college this Friday so we're doing the same as you. I phoned up for an EMA application form 2 weeks ago & still waiting. Someone else was told it would take 3 weeks to arrive. I (stupidly, obviously) thought either they would apply via college or we could do it online....
when my eldest son went to college we got sent several EMA packs without asking for any but not this time:rolleyes: like you I tried to do it online with no luck and when I rang the helpline nobody answered:mad: so I've emailed the college and asked them to send us a pack - (nobody on the phone there yesterday either:rolleyes: )hopefully they will backdate it.
I managed to apply for the bus pass online. We coludn't do all this any earlier as we weren't sure about his results. They dont make it easy for us do they!

Hope you get yours sorted asap!
    Do what you love :happyhear
