The total number of customer is probably a lot lower than 150 million. Both myself and my girlfriend have an account with both cahoot and kaupthing. I have an existing account with ING as well!

Whatever the number is it is likely it will be quite a few less after this

I guess this is what the Spanish call Mañana!

Closing in on 24 hours now; obviously something didn't reboot properly. :(
  • Well whenever the site becomes available again, hope they have an utterly convincing reason for the outage. In the current climate this is the last thing that customers need.

I can literally feel my individual hair follicles detatching themselves from my head one by one and bailing out. Maybe it's a sign :-(

No, I don't think the current situation implies as much urgency as that.
Much more like the Bulgarian 'Утре' (Utre) which makes 'Mañana' appear positively rapid.

Great, first I was in Icesave and I'm now waiting for that money to come back.
But I have money in Kaupthing (ING) but DD linked to Cahoot.
I transferred £5000 from Kaupthing to Cahoot that is sitting somewhere in limbo land waiting to be paid into a failed Cahoot system, so that money probably won't appear on Friday as promised.
Now I see that DD's may not be paid today, and guess what, that's the day when my IP takes its money. So by tomorrow I'll probably have no access to any of my money in any account and I might not even have Internet access.

It's a bloody power cut in Spain. Honestly. How jumpy are people?!

This is stupid. Next thing we know, BBC will report a queue at a petrol station and the whole country will be queueing for petrol.

This is like the old USSR, see a queue, join it.

Now that's what they should display on the cahoot home page :rotfl:

Why would a powercut in Spain affect anything? Is it a UK bank operating in the UK or is it a Spanish bank pretending to operate in the UK but actually operating in Spain ?
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Their servers are located in Spain, for some reason. Probably a tax fiddle.
