yea i'm gunna give old primrose place a go...
I've wanted a garage for ages and just moved to a house with one, but the beasties have laid claim to it THEY MUST NOT WIN lol
so going to get the smoke thing first to blitz the place and then have the electronic thing to keep them out hopefully that will let me do my projects in piece....might have to get the OH to de-web the place first how's that for role reversal my (female) partner has no problems but me (male) turns into a little schoolgirl if anything beastie like comes around.....i'm so ashamed lol0 -
According to the following article they dont work.
livingwithbugs.com/electron.html
As I'm scared poopless by the crawley bug*ers I'm very disappointed by this, also it seems after a few good days of searching for ways to get rid of them/stop them appearing without killing them (which just because I dont like them, doesn't mean I should just kill them) the only things that work are;
-closing windows.
-keeping the place as tidy as possible.
-trying to keep humidity as low as possilbe as they don't seem to like that (the same goes for the other bugs they like to munch on as well, which also means less food will lower their numbers also).
Conkers DO NOT WORK! The same is true for anything that is meant to smell bad to them, it is just another placebo.
So tomorrow I will be doing a mighty very, very late spring clean and vowing to become an obsessive compulsive when it comes to cleaning from now on. I'm also having the dehumidifier turned on all day every day.0 -
Has anyone who's ever bought an electronic spider repellent got any good things to say about them?
I am tempted to buy one, as there are zillions in my house, and I'm petrified of them.
Are they any good, or as OP above says, a waste of money? If the latter, what models do you recommend?
Thanks!0
