    this link still works for 10% off - its 2 years old but still a goodie!
  • I've been looking up prices to hire a car for 2 weeks in Cyprus and I'm looking at about £300+. I have been offered a car by the people who manage the apartment for a fraction of the price providing that I am classed as a "friend" who is borrowing the car. What are peopls's views on this???:o
  • Why not try Auto Europe. (auto-europe.co.uk) and see what they have to offer too! I think is the cheapest..
    They also provide a service called No excess plus that includes tires and windscreen. Go there and check

    I would also recommend AutoEurope. I have booked with them a few times for Spain. I've always found them to be good.

    Here's what I like about them;
    * Zero Excess Insurance Included
    * Free phone Customer Service number, from UK/Ireland and from the country you're renting in (ie. Spain)
    * Price Match Guarantee- its no gimmick, they really do price match! I submitted a lower price I found. they phoned me back and matched it.
    * They use reputable car hire companies like Record, Auriga etc.... in Spain

    Try also Ebookers. Usually includes CDW / TP with no excess to pay. Prices often cheapest, too.

    I did try Ebookers, but they sudenlly (last week) stopped doing all inclusive with additional driver and full tank:( Which is what we need. I just really want to have everything pre-paid from here..
    Then I went on Netflights, but their website is not working properly for over month..I would not let me choose drop off locations in San Fran, just jumps straight on SF airport while we need downtown, Union street..

    Then I went

    They still do all inclusive (insurance with no excess to pay). I booked yesterday. California state law says additional drivers are free. Ask at point of collection for confirmation.
