Hi, I ordered 2 games from an online board game shop (wargeek.co.uk) on 20th September.
The first game arrived very quickly (23rd Sept) and the invoice says that the second item was "to follow." However it has never arrived.
I have tried emailing the company, and tried the phone number on their web site and received no answer to either of them. I paid with a debit card, but the item was less than £100 anyway so would not have been covered.
Is there any way to get a refund, as I can't actually contact the store to ask for one? Any suggestions?
Thanks
Mat
have you tried writing to them at their Sheffield head office?

Hi,
We bought my son a laptop for christmas which he now uses for university. Last week it stopped working which is obviously a great problem as he needs it for his course and communication.
We still have the box and receipt from Curry's.
My question is, can we demand a replacement or will we have to wait for a repair?
Thanks.0 -

Initially Curry's have the right to repair the laptop. If this doesn't solve the problem then a replacement is in order.

Hey guys,
What if I buy an item that isn't faulty but I'd simply like a full refund for.
For example, I bought some clothes from a small local shop (not a company like BHS or Debenhams), but I don't like how they fit and I'd like a full refund - can I get one?
Generally, what is the policy for requesting a full refund (offline shops) when the product is NOT faulty?0 -

Entirely the goodwill/discretion of the retailer, you have no right in law for a refund just because you change your mind.
If the clothes have been misdescribed or wrong sizes etc, you can obtain a refund under SoGA as "not as described".Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -

Thank you for your quick response.
Further, can I attain an immediate full refund if the product IS faulty?
My mother once bought a garment with a small hole in it that was discovered when she brought it home. When she tried to get a cash refund (she'd paid in cash) they refused and said they will only exchange the item.
Can you obtain a full refund even if they insist they'll only repair/replace the item?0 -

I do hope you are not hinting that you are attempting to rip off a small local trader by 'discovering' a fault in the clothes?

Absolutely not.
I've been noticing many "We do not accept refunds" lately around shopping malls.
I just need to be clear so that these independent shops don't try to rip me off.0 -

No shop should display such notices. You should inform your local Trading Standards about them. I can't say I've noticed any such notices in the shopping malls I use.

Would love some clarification on this please.
