God thats awful Glad - how do you view chat in ebay? I don't use it much and didn't even know there was a chat function.

it was on the MSE ebay board here that I posted about it, it's just so obvious that people will use these to cheat their way through,
and this is only one of the people doing it, and if you follow it through they are usually not selling their own essays anyway, they are buying them on ebay and then selling them on,
makes me really angry when I know how much work really goes in to gaining these qualifications and that by doing this, people could be put in a position of being responsible for peoples lives without having gained the knowledge properly,

Well done Kiwichick - you'll be driving on your own in know time :T

PP - congratulations on getting on your course, hope you enjoy it - I loved psychology when I did it at a level.

Had a slightly better day today at work - people a bit more chatty. Porridge again for breakfast and I'm going to make a chilli for dinner tonight from stratch - just need to get motivated off the settee - but sitting under my fleece snuggler at the moment.

Think I'm going to sit and write some thank you cards later as my birthday was a couple of weeks ago and haven't written to people I didn't phone at the time :o

Anyway need to get on with chopping stuff up for my chilli ;)

Hope you've all had a good day

    Hi all

Well, last night was an experience. OH was up half the night having a chat with the loo (ie he was ill!). He didn't get to bed until 5am and so has spent the whole day moping around the house, whilst I've been out at work. I wasn't feeling too great, but if I don't go into work, then I don't get paid and I hadn't been ill in the night. All he's had to eat today has been some dry toast and he's now able to hold down water!!! Wooohoooo! I was waking up every hour last night wondering if he would ever get to bed.

I've been able to have supper - nothing gets in the way of me and my food :D, which is a relief. My stomach still isn't right, but at least I've still got it!

Too much ironing to do, too much cleaning to do and I'm so exhausted I can't be bothered. Ah well, hopefully I'll be feeling better tomorrow evening.

Not a very old style day as I was trying to get anything that would tempt DD to eat as she has tonsillitis and it hurts to swallow.

Managed to make my own pizza for tea and have just taken a different tray up to the invalid.

Very sad day as a pupil at daughter's school has died on a school trip and the tv and radio are full of it. It really puts everything else into perspective and just feel so sorry for everyone involved.

    Hi everyone

A late post for me, cos I've been i) busy and ii) kicked off the pc every time I've sat down to read this thread - this is my 4th or is it 5th attempt ? :D

PP- great news re your OU course. I occasionally toy with doing an OU degree - don't want my brain to turn to mush, which I sometimes feel it is doing, spending all my time looking after kids and rellies:rolleyes: However, I fear I honestly don't have the time, or inclination at the moment. I will put it in my 5 year plan though :)

Today, after depositing boys at schools, I went over to mum's to take her Xmas shopping  Trouble is, she can't walk as far as she wants and everything tkes 4 times as long as we have to stop and rest, so only got a few pressies/shops visited. I've told her that next time, I'm taking her to the mobility place to borrow a scooter thingy!! She reckons that knowing her luck, she'll drive it off the pavement and land in a heap in the gutter :D However, I have chosen, from her to me, a lovely black 3/4 length coat with fur trim from Per Una - didn't have my size so will have to order it in. And now I know what to get her ;)

So, after taking mum home, it was off to pick up all the kids, home to make a spag bol and garlic bread, with fruit and ice cream for pud. Just had the plumber round so he can quote for some work - won't be as dear as I thought, luckily. He's a brill plumber who doesn't charge the earth - few and far between! And he'll come and do the work on a Saturday as he's booked up for such a long time (and he said he'd do it last winter too)

Ok, hope all who are under the weather are getting better.

    Have a good evening

    TM

ps MATH - maybe the reason you're not skipping through scented meadows, with dappled sunlight dancing off your picnic basket and the taste of home-cooked apple strudel tantalising your tastebuds is PRECISELY BECAUSE you don't wear sanitary protection (I hope :D)

Very late posting today, seem to have been chasing my tail most of the day, out, this morning, after lunch visit to the library, Tesco and Wilko's.

Not sure what is going on at Tesco, but the last twice we have been have not been able to get various things, shelves empty...... two things keep me shopping there, its just 5 minutes from home and the vouchers come in handy at Christmas. I have just used £44's worth to buy a tunnel crossing to France for our holiday next year and I still have about £50 towards my Christmas grocery shop.

Took out some pork which I bought reduced on the fresh meat counter, cooking it in the slow cooker overnight, will have it with spiced rice for supper tomorrow night, also need to do up a pot of mince for Spag Bol, but that will have to wait until tomorrow afternoon, out again in the morning.........thinking of starting to bake my own bisuits, anyone have a recipe for digestives????? I have made gingernuts several times, husband loved them though, so they disappear like the speed of light..... also like almond shorties, the Bero book has a great recipe in for them.

I am off to bed to read, got my usual 8 books from the library, so plenty to go at.

    Night night everyone........
