    Good morning all

Hugs to Sarah - hope it all looks up for you.

Raining and grey here today - not quite as cold as yesterday tho. DD1 still off school - most of the school seem to have come down with the lurgy. Was horribly not having DH here last night - I'm sure it wasn't much fun for him either sitting in a hotel room with room service and control of the remote control.....

Plans for today include a good sort out in DD1's room - she can give me a hand with a bit of tidying in there - I'm ordering her a new wardrobe in a bit - will help to keep her room a bit tidier. Will pop a loaf going in a bit too - yesterdays was a little flat. Tea tonight will be pasta with ham and cauliflower with a cheese sauce and lunch will be probably a slice of toast if I remember.

Just noticed how grubby all my nets look so I think that will be Thursdays job, hopefully it won't be raining and I might even get the outside of the windows cleaned too (but don't hold your breath)

Hope you all have a good day.

Just thought I'd come back and say a 'Hello' to all you Old stylers. I've been a bit of a lurker for the last couple of months as i've been snowed under with study and exams. Anyway exams are all over now :j :j ...well at least until they start again next easter......

So here we go.... well got to get a loaf on in the breadmaker for sandwiches for tea. We've been living of OS food in our freezer so i'll have to start replenishing that. Ate the last HM shepards pie out the freezer last night so OH and me will be finishing that off at lunchtime. Must also make a full inventory of what is left in the freezer later this afternoon.

Thought we had a leak on our washing machine as i thought the rubber seal had broken. I started worrying about the £££££s. However good old grandad came round had a look and informed me that the 'hole' i thought i saw was supposed to be there!!! :o Anyway, i'm not too embarrassed by being so thick - at least it isn't more money that i have to find.

Going to go make a flask of coffee as i've got about 3 hours at the hospital later this morning.

Sarah - I don't normally post on the OS-day threads but I just wanted to say that it sounds like you've got a lot on your hands right now. I hope that your week gets better. I notice that you say you've recently come off anti-d's - everyone has bad days, but if you think that you're having more bad days than good ones, perhaps you should go back to see your GP. My ds has Autism, so I have some idea of how that affects your life.

    ((((((hugs)))))

    Hi everyone!

And a big hug to Sarah - does sound as if it would be a good idea to talk to your GP. Thinking of you.

Penny Pincher, so glad your lurgy finally seems to be getting better - your other probs are more than enough to have to cope with!

Hope all those poorly children are on the mend.

Didn't manage to hoover stairs yesterday BUT did landing, bathroom and our bedroom so v pleased with myself - but feeling the effects today so will be taking things easy - dinner tonight will be fish fingers, oven chips and beans!

    Morning all,

Sarah - I hope your day gets better, thinking of you.
Ancasta - Enjoy your magazines - could you use your clubcard vouchers to get a subscription to some wedding mags? Otherwise, nick them from the doctors (JOKE!)

Already been on line this morning searching for DS1 Xmas pressie - will have to go to St. Albans later to pick it up from Argos. Got loads of work to do today so I should really put DS2 in bed and get on with it.

DH working late and DS1 out a friends tonight so don't really have to worry about dinner tonight. Lunch will be left over ham in sandwiches.

Rainy and dark today - yuk!

is that the right word, I don't really know. I have well and truly 'arrived' old style. Let me explain.
Mum stayed over the weekend, and I cooked her a veggie dish I had invented, she wanted the recipe, then she asked for my advice on what to use as a sauce for a pie filling. OMG I was flattered but I didn't know where to put myself! Has this happened to any of you?

No :D Though my mum popped round the other day and was dead impressed that I was making a HUGE pot of spag bol from scratch. She hates cooking, I think the only thing she makes that's homemade is chips and that's only cos my dad hates oven chips
