Morning all! I've been awake since 4.30 when my awful neighbours got home from their night out, banging and shouting to be let in by their housemates. Grrr!
Today I'm hoping I can get the following done:
Trip to Wicks to get some decorating supplies and insulation for the cellar. Use them! Take our son out to play. Make a couple of loaves to freeze. Continue sorting my photos so I can take them to get printed. Scrub the tiles in the shower. Go grocery shopping.
I'd like to get more done but knowing how long everything seems to take us in our family, that'll do for now!
Have a good day everyone.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Morning!
Had a good nights sleep but still not feeling great. Im in alot of pain this morning with the FMS & Lupus on top of having a stinking cold, but the cold thing seems to be on its last legs.
House is pretty tidy and clean, so nothing needing doing. 1 washload to do once OH & DD get out their pits  OH is starting the painting today on hallways/stairs/landing and cant wait to see what it looks like. DW needs emptying but will get DD to do that
Going to see my OH's cousin Saturday as they've just had their second child-they live by the coast and is lovely down there. Only going to stop a couple of hrs. DD wrapped up last night for new baby-gorgeous top we bought in Boots last week, reduced to £5 and paid via points-so free!! Then she wrapped up a Brand new Avent Freezer food storage set worth £25 in the shops, but we got FREE from this website under the freebie sectionNeed to get there other boy something, but have a ton of boots points so will pick up from there
Also there anniversary pressy which was back in Oct
but have a lovely handmade rustic/folk art welcome wood plaque which DD will wrap up. So all 4 pressies costing no more than £3 :T
Breakie today will be toast/cereal. Lunch will be the other fishcake from yesterday was scrummy-OH will probably have Chicken, mash and sweetcorn. Dinner will be either chilli or shepards pie & veg.
Have my 3 weekly shop coming from Asda today and have spent the grand old total of £63, this is enough main food, store items, milk, dairy etc for about 3 weeks, may have to top up the fridge stuff in a couple of weeks but will hopefully be going to Aldis again to stock up on tinned foodHave cut food to £30 a week at the moment and living very well of it.
Will catch up later. Take care all and wrap up warm, its bloomin cold today

well my little kept me away most of night as he's teething. he is now soundo and my little girl is playing in her room, my husband has gone to work so i'm sat in bed using the laptop planning my day.
have one load of washing to do. fair bit of tidying up as i had a head ache last night , so didn't do any hoovering. keep meaning to make a chocolate refridgeartor cake so will hopefully get that done.
have to take son for his 4 month injections. my shooping challenge ends next wednesday so i need to add up receits and see how far off target i was. i hopping not too much , as this is the first time i have done it and i was a 5 week month so if i have done it , then a 4 week month should be a breeze.
the sky looks very grey and overcast and it looks cold out so i think i am gonna have to hunt down where i have put my scraf and gloves.
breakfast will prob be wheatabix ( creamed porridge for son)
lunch proberly a toasted sandwich
dinner haven't a clue yet. something with potatoes as i have some to use.0 -
Good morning
Its raining here today, so haven't done any washing as there's not too much waiting to be done. All the washing that was drying in the airing cupboard is put away.
Bathroom & wet windows dried, dehumidifier on (don't leave it on overnight cos we can't stand the noise of it coming on and off)
Just got the d/w to empty now.
Dinner will be at lunchtime: gammon left over from yesterday with jacket spuds & veg
then I will have sandwiches for tea, as DH is away on a course & DS will be at my mum's for tea.
I also have to go into town & get some euros as we are going on a day trip to France on Thursday, and to post some books which I have sold. I wish I had done those two things yesterday when the weather was nice!
Have a good day!0 -
Right well im at work. Oh joy (yuk)
My boss is being a bit of an !!!!!! today so he hasn’t got me in the best of moods already.
Forgot to put our casserole into the slow cooker this morning (grrrrrrr) but I will make it in the oven after frying off the steak, OH will be non the wiser.
I was really naughty yesterday and spent £9 on magazines, but before you all tell me off, they were wedding magazines and they all had useful freebies in them!! Im not beating myself up about the £9, its my wedding and I deserve it.
Got an email back from the reception venue today and we can go to meet their wedding co-ordinator on Saturday so im super excited. Hopefully they will be able to give us a rough ball park figure of how much it is going to cost us to get married there and hold a small reception. There is only going to be 14 of us so its not too bad.
Going to have my toast with a coffee at work to waken me up and get down to my days daily grudge… Must look into making my wedding pages @ confetti… or I might make my own website… give me something to do at work0 -
I had quite a good nights sleep last night which was the first in ages due to the flu I had 3 weeks ago. Did the school run. Now I'm waiting in for some kitchen fitters to arrive to give me a quote for a new kitchen. All depending on what the price is and what freebies they are offering I might have it done. After that I have to go into town and post some ebay parcels. Then if I have time I will do a big shop at Iceland. Then I will get the kids from school and cook the tea. I need to use up some sausages in the fridge so we will have those with mash, beans (from the garden) and gravy.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
