Going to apply for mine now. I'm fed up of not being able to use my paypal credit for anything other than eBay and selected online stores, and i'm not going to pay a fee and wait 9 days for it to go into my bank account.

Got my card over a week ago,topped up with £100 on tuesday night, thurs lunchtime it was still not showing, spent ages on the phone to them as I had a vets appt that evening and that was my only means of paying the bill - eventually with an hr to spare, they phoned to say it was sorted and the credit had been done. Used the card that evening without any problems - I would suggest though that when you top up, you keep an eye on it and don't assume that its going the be on there 24 hrs later.

I had a similar issue yesterday. Topped up with £100 on Saturday morning and expected it to be in by Sunday. Nope didn't show in the account until the late afternoon. Still a lot quicker the transferring to the bank.

I don't remember seeing any problems with the postcode when i signed up, but it did ask for one of my email addresses attached to the paypal account.

The PIN arrived last wednesday, the card on Friday, but my reason for getting it is becuase my business current account does not offer a cash/debit card. What I have been doing is paying for postage and stock with my personal account debit card (no merchant fee surcharges in a lot of cases), then once a week or fortnight I will write myself a cheque from the business account to my personal account.

It's a right old faff, but as the Paypal topup/debit card is attached to my business paypal account, it will cut a lot of this out.

The card that arrives is like an Electron card, so I do not think it can be used for online or telephone orders though?

As far as i am aware it can be used for online and telephone orders.

Well I got mine and am really happy with it!
Had it about a week, balance going on after transfer 24-36 hours later (seemed to take longer at the weekend?) and had no problems!

Could someone clarify something for me please, it says that it can not be used for automatic fuel payment (or something along that line) - does that mean you can't use it at the pay-at-pump machines but you can in the kiosk or can you just not use it for petrol full stop? ty

You cant use it at the pay-at-pump machines because they require 'pre-authorisation' the same as hotel bookings etc... Actually paying at the kiosk works fine.

I tried to use mine at marksandspencer online but card got refused does anyone know why I have put funds on and is showing on balance
