hiya everyone,
just applied for one of these so it should be here shortly,
can i ask, if i transfer from paypal to the prepay card does this take 24hours or is it the usual 5 working days?
thanks from claire.0 -
They charge £2 to withdraw from an ATM machine? WOW, Do other top-up cards do this? I was under the impression that they didn't.
I've been waiting for this for the past 3 years! I even emailed them 2 years ago to ask when it would be released, but they just bounced me around about 10 different support staff.
Anyway, I have no need for it now, going to be getting a debit card when I turn 16, which works out cheaper to use on ATM machines etc.
Good product though, just a bit late

i'll have to wait until i have moneys in my account but it looks like a good idea, certainly quicker than transferring it to my bankhelpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
Just to be clear incase I'm missing something: if I already have a debit card and only infrequently have money in my PayPal account, is there any point in getting one of these?0

Probably not. It will be more ideally suited to people who for example sell alot on ebay and want to get their hands on the money from paypal quicker.. or those who cant get a debit or credit card.0 -
Well i got that email, and thought i would give it a try,i got my card yesterday and already it seem's just like another big paypal conning scheme, i transfered £10 from my paypal account to the top up card, 29 hours later the money is still not on my card, i called them on there 0845 (6p-per min) number to be put on hold for 19 minutes for them to tell me it may take up to 48 hours if its not there within 24 hours, i had also forgotten my pin number, so they told me that this would cost me £2 for them to send me a pin reminder. so i told them to forget it and i would just use my card for online purchases,to be quiet honest the card they send out looks a bit tacky, the chip looks like it can be peeled off, so if this does happen you will have to folk out another £4.95 to paypal for a new card, and also i have noticed they only give the card 2 years before it expires, normal banks give you 3 years, meaning you will have to folk out for a new card @ £4.95 every 2 years, not alot i know but after a few million people doing this over a few years, think of all the money paypal has conned of its customers. but i wont be buying a replacement card after 2 years! they can stick it!!0

When I signed up, I chose to have £5 deducted from my current account, which I presumed would have covered the sign up fee for the card, but I've noticed that when I checked my balance, it was registed as minus £4.95, even though it should have been +£0.05, to cover the £5 I'd paid towards the registration fee.
When I topped up, this -£4.95 was deducted from my balance, so I've effectively paid the sign up fee twice. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Another quick thing I was wondering, does anyone know the best way to withdraw a balance from the card? Is there anyway to to withdraw money to a paypal or current account without incurring charges?0
