Paypal Top Up card

Did any one else get this email - https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Marketing/general/PPTUCHome-outside
It all sounds good but the links to apply don't work.
More info -

The PayPal Top Up card is a new product from PayPal. It gives you control over your money, use it like a debit card to make withdrawals from your PayPal account, or use it at home or abroad wherever you see the Visa logo. Topping up your card is as easy as making a PayPal purchase, and you can manage your account using the online account manager.

I had it too, went to the Paypal site (not clicking on any links, cos I don't do that) and couldn't find anything there about it.

    Yep, also got the e-mail.

Will probably wait until it appears on a cashback website first though!!

I use the Bread card as it was one of the cheapest, but this one is FREE to use in the UK if you top up via your PayPal account.

It's a pity it was not linked directly to your paypal account, so you could withdraw money if you sold something on Ebay straight away, unless if you top up by PayPal it shows instantly on your account.

If you top up by paypal its available next business day to withdraw so quicker then withdrawing funds to bank account.
I have been trying all day to apply, phoned them and they said they had huge amounts of traffic as everyone uk paypal account holder had been emailed today. Have finally got on to first page but when I go to find address it loops back to the start again.

There is a fee for the card of £4.95 but after that withdraws appear to be free if you have a paypal balance. Could be good for paying for postage at the post office. Fees

It costs £2 to withdraw from an atm. My paypal account is credit card funded if I don't have a balance, I asked if I could top up without a balance and it use the credit card and she said yes which is cheaper then doing a cash withdrawel on the credit card. x
  • The link now works, but upon trying to enter my postcode I'm greeted with :
