  • Hey,

Just to make sure here. I have the top up card. I have got £5 in balance on it.

Will it work for me to buy petrol at Sainsburys if I go in to the actual kiosk and give the card to the person?

    Many thanks :)

Shouldn't be a problem, you won't get far on £5 though!

I once tried to pay at a Total garage using mine and it didn't work. It was more an experiment really so I would take a back up payment method just in case.

Was that prepaying or paying at a pump? Prepaid cards tend not to work at the pay at pump things.
If you've got money on it there's no reason it wouldn't be accepted in the kiosk.

No, it was inside the kiosk. There was somewhere else it wasn't accepted as well but I can't for the life of me think where it was.
  • Good news!

Put some petrol in, walked into Sainsburys, put in the card and BAM!, it was accepted. So now I'm a happy bunny :D

I have just been looking into getting one of these cards, and wondered if people are still having problems with them or was this just teething problems?
    Thanks

  • I have a question, I got my Paypal card a few days ago.
I topped up from my Paypal account £20 and 2pm the next day the balance is showing on my top up account, however if I check my balance at a cashpoint(atm) it says:

    Available Balance £0.00
    Credit limit £0.00

I know the credit limit will say 0 as it doesn't have one but why would the available balance say £0 when on my account it clearly has funds.
My friend has one and his shows his balance at the atm just fine.
  • Can anybody help ive recently applied for a paypal top up card which came thru the door the other day,now when i applied i didnt tick the box to say i had a paypal account,My problem is i cant seem to find where to link my card to my paypal account, i have emailed paypal which no response so far i was hoping somebody knows how to do this

    Regards robd1
