Anyway I have one o2 PAYG SIM that does do the job - it is a post Sept 05 one while the non-working one (for the modem) is pre that date. Mystery!
Thanks for the offers but I'm on Virgin and don't really want to swap SIMs all the time. Eventually some nice chap gprs datacards will appear on Ebay & assuming that Orange's offer stays available, I'll get that Orange SIM then.0 -
