I'd certainly consider that. Mainly its to listen to Radio on the coach and in the car on long trips from football and the like. DAB is utterly hopeless on a coach, even worse since I changed my Perstel radio for a Sony one. And you can only get Virgin on FM in a very limited area so £1 seems reasonably fair

Though if you read the small print for the orange £1 for 24 hours unlimited gprs use, it excludes 3G phones. So no good for watching all the new tv services etc
  • Sorry for my ignorance, but this is all new to me..

£1/month for unlimited GPRS use? I couldnt find anything on the Orange webiste. Can I ad it to my OVP Virgin tariff and have free surfing for £1? Sounds too good to be true!

And the Radio service via the mobile, it says on the link above that it works only on G3 so I am confused again.

Can someone enlighten me pls in simple terms?
    Thanks!

Its £1 per day! You can buy it on a daily basis , as and when you want it. Its on PAYG, as a bolt on, so may not be available on your pay monthly d

Oops..! :o I get it now (some of it anyway)

Do you have a link to the relevant page on Orange's site? I couldnt find anything.

I have a GPRS laptop card that I use to surf the net when on the road (slow, but ok), so this could be the ideal solution for me. Someone above said that Internet surfing is included - is this right?
