- you need DKU-5 cable, DKU-2 does not work with 3200.
- you can still connect the cable(DKu-2) and 3200 to your PC and go to conrol panel-system-harware-device manager and seek at the list of harware you have the "unknown device" with yellow question mark. Highlight it, right click with mouse and select uninstall.
Then you can start from clean table. Install DKU-5 cable driver from Nokia pages (and BTW, buy Nokia original I have seen so many people complaining about the non-genuine DKU-5's that be careful). Anyways, it may be that there no longer are DKU-5 available so then buy CA-42, it is the same thing (again be careful with the numbers, there is also a cable called CA-53, don't buy that).
If you buy CA-42, install ONLY PC Suite, because it also has driver for CA-42. With DKU-5 you need to install separately the DKU-5 driver. If I helped or saved you money - Thank me

Instead of using a 3g datacard, I'm assuming it might also possible to use a 3g bluetooth phone as a modem for PC use - has anybody done this? - would extra software be needed, or are 3 phones prevented from this, so it would need unlocking?0
-
3 phones need unlocked and then usually a software reflash, i had both done but still my moto A1000 wouldnt work via cable or B/TIf I helped or saved you money - Thank me

Thanks - do you think that was 3 blocking that function, or isn't it possible anyway? Seems like it ought to be, if you can get 2g GPRS working in a similar way ...0
