OK, now my USB dongle has stopped working. Lights have gone out and it isn't showing in my system tray thing.

Tried unplugging it then plugging it back in?
Also, is it possible to just forget about the wireless and use a cable to connect with the PC?0 -
Finally - all back up and running! Have rebooted and it started again fine. I think the thing that fixed it was making sure all 3 boxes were unticked. It's after that that I managed to get it back online. Thanks for all your help!

Heh, np - Glad you're back up and running - I feel quite knackered now. and IVIV I didn't realise you could just click on the network icon in the system tray - Thanks I will noew use that.

Well not for long. Switched off both PC and laptop. Went out. Came home put on PC. Connected no problems. Daughter switched on Laptop, connected to Internet - connection to internet on PC lost at once. Checked IP config - all Zeros. Everything else jsut as it was left at the end of the saga earlier.

Hi Espresso. No, i got it working again earlier on wireless, but that isn't showing in the IPconfig box.
