Hi,
As an existing customer I have just completed online. Website very slow but got there in the end.
BTW once you get through to the options you can choose the type of fixed account you want ie. Standing charge or online etc...
Good luck,
Dan0 -
It's still open - but takes a lot of patience. I wonder if they're busy ;-)
Got a "successfully submitted" return which is good news.
Couldn't get in via quidco... I guess that went yesterday. Bums. Also may loose some EON discount, but at a ~17% hike prob worth it!What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -
So for an average dual fuel customer, say around £1200 per annum, is the SP fixed tariff with or without standing chage the best one?0

My bill is 1300pa, and the comparison sites showed the difference between the two for me was ~ < £1 .. so I'd say it makes no difference. I ended up going no standing charge. What goes around - comes around

SP fixed until 2009 still open as of 9.15pm0

Confused - phoned up SP and chap said that deal ended at 6PM - Another said 11pm. It's chaos on there as apparently all their computers have melted down.
Just got back online and managed to get to the "application submitted" screen - no reference number or anything, just a load of chat about the process taking 4-6 weeks and the suchlike - does this mean that I'm in on this deal??0 -
Yep can confirm the capped product is still (or was at 20:30)
0800 400 200 then option 2
If it's busy, try again, and again, and again.
It took me about 30 attempts over around 2 hours and a 50 min wait with some classical crap doing my head in but i got there in the end!
The guy i was on the phone with said all of the 5,000 lines were in use, and it was mayhem in the call centre..
Good luck and act fast!0 -
I'm stressed, I already went for SP2011 once and cancelled as I wanted to get the cashback, then got cold feet.
I'm with BG and now I'm panicking, my head is gone as had new baby born on Friday !
Do you think I should take the plunge ?0 -
Just tried the Customer services which can swap users onto the fixed pacakge (as a test) and it's now closed, so your best bet is the website "my account"0

Oh well, I just capped (online) just kept hitting refresh on each page til it loaded in case anyone else is trying !
Can't believe I missed out on the 2011 deal by being un-organised after cancelling it too !0
