O well done taplady is`nt it great when you get some back,:T :T
anniebooklover yes it is is`nt it?as they both said they never know what to buy me for Mothers day, christmas or birthday so as he is in the trade it helps me out, saves me money and sooo useful.:D
Thanks Pink-winged yes they are expensive, he rang the Ins Co, and for an excess of £105 they are replacing the key, said it might mean new door locks, and also providing a courtesy car for as long as he needs it, very impressed, also it wont change his no claims bonus:D
I hate to think how much it would have cost if it was`nt covered on his Ins.
Pixie glad to hear DS1 and Lo are on the mend:T
r.mac it might look more of a mess but its a clean mess:rotfl: :rotfl:
O better go MIL`s washing has just finished,I will shove it on the line then start dinner, nothing very exciting tonight just Mr M`s Pepperoni Pizza, and baked beans for OH,not for me though,Pizza is enough on its own.

Afternoon, all.
I found a venue that has provisionally booked us for our wedding! *jumps for joy* Today has been good from that point of view.
Anniestar - happy birthday! I hope you're having a lovely day, and that you have a great evening! ((hugs))
A very OS style tea for us tonight - we're at mum's, bless her, and she's cooking for us. Always nice. However, then it's on to the supermarket for the weekly shop, and then I'm going to try and cool down any way I can.
And now the big heap of planning begins! I'm so excited!Continually trying the Grocery Challenge. Gotta keep trying!0 -
Hi Everyone
It's been ages since I last got on here, but been so busy. Doing lots of jobs to earn some cash. Joined a few more websites too and already had an offer through for some more work which is great.
Had quotes through for my new kitchen and let's just say I'll not be having a life for about 50 years!!
I've reached payout point on a few survey sites so ordered the cash. That'll help a bit.
Did my sponsored bike ride on Friday. Really enjoyed it and raised some money for charity.
Been very good with shopping. Managing to only go once a fortnight and just making do with what's in.
Well hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -

Happy Birthday Anniestar
Been packing things away we will not be wearing until after the alterations and then putting them in the loft, another day at it tomorrow, but good inroads into today.
((((hugs))) all round

Dubgirl – hope you are feeling a bit better now
Pink1970 – I agree with you about the jobcentre website, but the job was still advertised on the NHS website when I started the application, it had been removed while I was filling it in:mad:
JackieO – we did the Chatham Dockyard experience a few years back when my daughter was competing at Chatham Dance Festival, I thought then that I would like to work there, maybe me and Hester could apply, am sure Hester could write our scripts for us. Must have been great to speak to your eldest DD on webcam, the wonders of the t’internet eh?
Chrisca – a special (((hug))) for you. My mum drives me mad on the phone, but I am so glad she is still here. She had breast cancer 7 years ago and is still going strong and have to say, most days I think about this and how lucky I am to have her still.
Pixie – glad to hear that ds1 and Lo are feeling better/healing will Lo have a distinctive fingerprint like I do? The finger I shut in the car door has a crescent shaped scar, no chance of me getting up to no good then!
Taplady – yessssssssssssssssss, so nice to hear that the elec companies get it wrong and can actually admit it
Mary – teenagers, well what can you say :rotfl:
Rmac - I was going to sort my ironing mountain down today….BUT...... last night before I went to bed I spyed a huge moth on the wall above it, I have a phobia about flappy things. This morning moth has gone, am convinced that said moth is hiding in the ironing pile so have left it till OH comes home to shake it all out. (yes I’m a wuss)
Frugalswan – yayyyyyyy @ you getting a venue. Are we all invited:D:D:D
Scuzz – well done on the sponsored ride
I know you are probably bored with me saying this... BUT I have an interview tomorrow, arranged by agency, aparently its just an informal one, the job is still advertised in local paper today, but you never know.
While I have been typing this up, OH has rung, he's coming home tonight  so that won't be me eating the curry I got out of the freezer earlier......thinking easy pasta meal is on the cards, curry tomorrow
Ivyleaf - sorry to hear you are achy
I think I better go now, cos I'm taking up tooooooooo much space :rotfl:whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine
Stopped smoking 20:30 28/09/110 -
Best of luck, Dazi, for the job interview tomorrow!
Hmm, I'm tempted to invite you - virtually! I mean some of the photos, the recipes for the food I'll serve ... that sort of thingContinually trying the Grocery Challenge. Gotta keep trying!0 -
Good luck for tomorrow Dazi :T
ivyleaf its awful is`nt it the way this weather brings out all the aches and pains, put your feet up and take it easy:beer:
keep at it donny-gal you`ll get there, alterations how exciting....dont you just love it when you have something new done:j
OH has just been on the phone to cap our gas/elec, we have done it with our original supplier, and we got Tesco points too. Have we done the right thing.....who knows til the bills start rolling in.....I was just fed up with OH going round in circles. We have just had a combi boiler fitted so that should help as well, and are having a water meter fitted next week, thats supposed to help as there are just the 2 of us here now.
I am fed up with OH and his economy drives, he wastes more than he saves by leaving lights or tv on when he wanders off out into the garage  and then tells me off for leaving them on, got really long arms I have, they reach from the bathroom down into the lounge and the kitchen....and on the way they turn all the lights and things on..... are`nt I clever:rolleyes:
