Morning All!
Been awake since 5.30. Glorious day again in Hastings!
Had a good day yesterday, cleared all the ivy off the garage roof, and sorted out and tidied DS's rom, with his help. Won't tell you what was lurking underneath his bed:rotfl:
:bdaycake: to anniestar hope it's a good one. My ex's birthday too, don't wish him any harm tho!:rotfl:
Having a day off today. taking a frend to see a disabled bungalow, she's second on the list, hope she gets it. Then off to Eastbourne with DD to see "Mamma Mia"
Have a great day all!I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Just a quick one before work, i have just finished a book called 'blue sky july', it was fantastic, if you get the chance read it, its a bit of a tear jerker, only a small book, I read it in a few hours, but its lovely, and a true story.
Squigly, yes its the Rox this weekend in Bognor, its a lot of live bands, music etc, my bil sometimes sponsers it and gets free tickets, not really my thing, but dd would like it, might see if bil can take her, enjoy you 'free time' would you sis like another one ?
Oh well off to work, have left dd instructions to clean her room, and hover downstairs Mhawhahahaha0 -
:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Anniestar - oops, cake went the wrong side of the writing!
For all those with DHs who sound like hogs through the night, try Breathe Right strips (£6.59 for 10 in Superdrug or £24 for 114 on eBay!). They have worked really well on my DH - he has stopped holding his breath at night and is nowhere near as noisy!
Back later - I'm having a battle with the fax machine at the moment and it's making me want to throw it [strike]at DH's head if he was here[/strike] out of the window!

Anniestar - Happy birthday
Today is going to be a challenge. I've never been the most confident driver, but today I am taking my brother's girlfriend to the train station. Which is fine, only that it is only an hour away and I'm bein brave this time and going on the motorway route. But I have a few huge rondabouts to turn right at and I keep invisging all these scenarios. I know it'll do me good, but I wish I was a confident driver. I think it was because it took a year for me to pass, when I say that, it took nearly most of the year to actually understand. :S :S
I haven't made cake for a few days and the kitchen definitely needs some. Might make some lemon cake this morning before we leave.
Take care.0 -
Here you go Anniestar - something to feast your eyes on:j
Have a lovely birthday mate hope you get some lovely pressies:bdaycake:
Chucking it down here which is no bad thing as I find it really hard to focus on work when I could be in the garden sunbathing:o
Went to see Angus, thongs and perfect snogging with my god daughter and neighbours daugher yesterday (they are both 12) They loved it....I hated it lol ah well it was obviously not written for a 40 something cinema goer although its amazing how many lines they have pinched from Bridget Jones:D
Having spinach and ricotta ravioli for dinner which I would love to claim to have made but that would be a lie;) it is part of my freezer clear out though so thats my excuse.
Have a great day all0 -

Have heard nothing from Jobcentre about our claim for JSA, was in a queue on the phone for 25 mins yesterday and didnt get through to anyone. Will be buying local rag to see what jobs are available in our small rural market town....i already know the answer to that, a big fat zero...
No idea whats for tea tonight, went out to biker mates house last night, few beers and some chilli chicken....was really nice.

Morning Everyone
Anniestar
for those in need
Have been up ages, filling in another applicaton form. This one wanted full employment history since leaving full time education :eek: seeing as I'm 52 and left school in 1972 I don't think 11 jobs plus 2 stints temping is a lot, do you? Am at a loss to know why you then have to fill in that bit about how your experience fits the bill, if they read the jobs I've done they'd know that :rolleyes::rolleyes:
Can I join the stroppy DD club please, not my DD but OH's, I only need part time membership as we only have her part time
Am not going to join in the snoring discussion as it's me that snores for england, OH often goes off to sleep in DSD's bed when shes not here :rotfl:
Off to press the send button on the application form, get ready, go down town.
Have a good day xxxxxxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Hi everyone, I'm not in work today, off sick, feeling wiped out, very nauseous and going hot and cold, currently sitting here with a thick jumper on as I feel really cold, but it is not really. Havent had anything to eat yet, but have kept a cuppa down. Will do OH burgers tonight, but probably wont feel like anything.
