  • A Google Android based phone is probably the best alternative. Similar features (touch screen, wifi, gps, camera) but less restricted and a lot faster than an iPhone 3GS.

    Google don't ban all the good apps either.

    Whats faster on an Android phone? I have used a few and none are as fast as my 3GS.

    Plus there are a lot more apps on the iPhone.

    its just difficult to get the 16gb 3gs at the moment tho whereas the Hero is readily available

    edive just got an iphone unfortunkatly its locked is there anyone can give advice on unlocking it as im already in a contract with orange and have to pay around 25 a month till july 10


    edit-or would it be easier to get a simplicity sim on o2

    Why not just get a 16GB PAYG off the Apple Site @ £440.40, less if you go via Quidco, obviously you have to use O2 though as your provider.
