  • I have sorted mine out! got the 19.50 simplicity deal with o2 (£100 cashback when it was on!), got my iphone on pay as you go (cost me 440 -ouch!) and its all working like a dream! the o2 set up iphone pages did the job for me easily!

The only question i have is in regards to the pay and go sim card i got with the phone, as i already have a sim i was going to stick it on ebay as you get 12 months free internet with it.

Ive surfed the net and realised that o2 can track whether the sims being used by an iphone or not and have been cancelling peoples unlimited internet. it says no resale but i fancy just sticking it up on ebay and saying its for iphone only... any opinions/views?

The first generation iPhone does not have 3G, i.e. browsing the web and using Internet-based services when out of your home Wi-Fi networks (and public ones, if you're signed up to any) will be slower than with the newer models. The advantage of this model, besides its age and thus lower price, is the durable aluminium casing and longer battery life.

The iPhone 3G is now like the 'middle child', essentially the same as the first generation iPhone but with 3G capabilities added, and a curvy plastic design.

The latest iPhone 3GS is improves the iPhone 3G under the bonnet, from the outside it looks like an iPhone 3G. (think upgrading a Volkswagen Golf to the GTI version without changing its appearance at all).
  • it arrived at 910 this morning! yay im in love!
