So the cheapest and best deal is definitely with Three especially when including the £101 cashback here at topcashback and the fact they have great 3G coverage in the UK. But many people still think the iPhone is very expensive due to the upfront costs and long term contract. I disagree. Since I have had my iPhone I have sold my TomTom, my video camera, point and shoot camera, iPod and alarm clock. Why because the iPhone is better at all of these tasks and is always with me and does 10x more besides.

I explained about the Wildfire in case anyone else reading this was planning on buying their kid a similar priced phone and to demonstrate my reasoning behind my choice from a personal point of view.
Yes, this may not be for everybody but:
A) I didn't want to get tied into a 24 month contract.I felt it important to teach my daughter the value of things and that sometimes in life you need to 'work your way up' to the best.
C) £35 per month for 24 months is too much for my budget for her.
D) 3 didn't offer £100 cashback
E) 3's phones aren't free
and finally, I wouldn't touch 3 with a rusty bargepole. O2 is excellent reception where we live, 3 is awful.
Ultimately, I was simply trying to help others.
That is all.
as i said my brand new iphone4 was free, and i have absoloutely no problems with 3 signal where i live, the other week i was stood at lands end and had a full signalTake every day as it comes!!0 -
I ordered my Tesco mobile Iphone 4 last night, shocked how quickly my order was processed, no more than 10 minutes on the phone, was quite funny that they asked for my credit card details before my address. Delivery within 2-5 days, probably be delayed a little with the xmas rush but I cant wait :-)0

Got my iPhone 4 16GB back in September (just in time for the free case) with Three & although my cashback rate was lower than is currently advertised, thought I'd let fellow posters know it's been tucked away in my bank accout for a couple of weeks.
Tesco was completely out of stock at the time. However, I think it a pretty good deal for a product I am totally converted too - no more scrappy lists of lists lying around the house either!
Reliable 3G coverage with this network seems to be pretty extensive, having tried it in N Scotland as well as various places around the Midlands.0 -

Hi jodders
I followed what Purplebubble did below.
Tesco mobile now have Iphone 4's back in stuck. Give them a callpurplebubble27 wrote: »Although the Tesco website says the iPhone 4 16GB is out of stock, and every Tesco Extra within a 50-mile radius (South Wales) has also sold out and can't tell me when they'll next be getting a delivery, I found that if you call Tesco Mobile directly on 0800 4334990, you can order one and have it delivered in 2-5 working days!
As long as you know what you want, and don't need to actually talk to someone face to face, and handle the phone etc, this is the easiest way to get your hands on one. Everyone seems to agree that the Tesco deal of £20 a month for a 12 month contract, paying £349 up front for the handset is the best deal around at the moment. They will also ask for another £20 up front by the way, for the first month's contract, so you'll be handing over a grand total of £369. Hope this is helpful!0 -
Hello! My fiance has the iPhone 4 with Orange. Upgraded to it a couple of months ago, however it's costing him around £45 basic line rental with the additional £15 a month insurance and he's locking into a 24 month contract. It's a bleedin rip off!! He was deserate for the phone though. Can you reduce your call plan after a set period of tim or not?? I know some of the networks have fixed the costs and charges and set 'special' rates for the iPhone.:oGetting married 23rd June 2012!!:o0

Hey All,
I'm surprised no one hasn't mentioned Threes new 'The One Plan'.
It will definitely benefit those who use lots of data, as its truly Unlimited data, plus you can use it for tethering!
Announced last week, I think its something like £25pcm, 2000 X network minutes, and 5000 Three to three min/text. and I repeat Unlimited data no cap!
Their marketing hasn't been updated, so most places are advertising it as 1GB still... but do a google search and you'll see the press coverage.
If I hadn't signed up to Tesco on their £20pcm 12month IPhone4 plan a couple of months ago, Three's offer would have denitely been the option for me. Not that I'm complaining much as the Tesco deal is definitely the second best around imo.0
