Hi I am with T-mobile too and purchased an i phone 4, which as I am sure you are already aware requires a micro sim. T-mobile said they would charge £10 to swap my regular sim for a micro sim, this could be done in a store or I could of waited a number of days to get one through the post. Instead I decided to cut my regular sim card down to the size of a micro sim, which worked.

my sister wants an iphone 4, have they at all dropped in price since launch?

when I compare the iphone 4 deals on offer http://www.comparemobiledeals.com/mobile-phones/Apple/iPhone-4-16GB I see that dialaphone are the cheapest at the moment on a vodafone contract but 75 mins is too little.

but 3 seem to offer the best value, loads of texts and minutes but Im concerned that 3 has poor signal? we had a 3 phone years ago (brighton and hove area) and calls kept dropping even though their coverage map said it would be fine.

Does anyone know if 3 now have a good and stable data signal in the brighton area?

Also I see the 3 deal is a clearance deal? does this mean the iphone is new or not? I remember reading somewhere that clearance deals may be returned phones?

    Any help greatly appreciated.:j

Tesco are probably doing the best deal on the Iphone 4 atm, £30 a month for 750 minutes, unlimited texts and internet I'm not sure about but there some allowance. You have to pay £229 for the phone but it's only an 18 month contract, unlike alot of other companies who tie you in for 24 months.
The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.

Can anyone help me on the Tesco deals. I can't find any 18month and cheapest appears to be £25 a month. Do I need to go into store rather than online?
    Thanks
  • Do Tesco offer any cashback for signing a mobile contract with Tesco? I thought they would but wasn't able to see it listed. Any other cashback sites offering anything for Tesco contracts?

    Thanks in advance

Tesco iPhone contract prices went up yesterday :(

I was in Tesco Bursledon (near Southampton) in the morning and asking about the iPhone pay monthly tariffs. Cheapest tariff is now £25/month (was £20) then £40 (was £35). Full details can be found here.

Yeah Tesco put all their prices up :(
The phones gone down £7 though.

I emailed MSE yesterday to update their article.
  • Hi Guys,

Very informative thread, I have been looking to get the iphone 4 over the last week, was favouring the Tesco 12 month £229 £35 a month option.

Only when I called them on Saturday, I found out prices had gone upto £235 for the phone and £40 p/m!!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned H3G one plan offer 24 month contract, £69 £35 p/m, 2000 mins, 5000 texts.

For some reason, they are now offering a refershed iphone (was offering a new one last week).

Do you guys think the prices are likely to increase if they go back to offering a new one...?

bah! yup tesco prices no longer cheapest. :( Where can I find more on the 'H3G' deal is that with the network 'three' direct? Would like to view it and see how much web data comes with it.

    £35x24 + £69 = £909 total for life of contract

Just realised my current phone tariff has gone up with the vat increase. great!

Im know leaning towards the vodafone deal at onestopfoneshop which includes 1gb web, unlimted texts and 300 mintues at £30 per month.

Comparing it to the other tariffs and deals it seems slighlty better value. http://www.comparemobiledeals.com/mobile-phones/Apple/iPhone-4-16GB?&tab=Pay-Monthly&page=1&term=24&internet=yes Plus I think vodafone have a good signal in my area . £30 x 24 + £169 = £889

Also, say we wait until the new iphone comes out, does the previous years iphone tend to drop much in price much? i.e. half the price of the new one or 20% off etc. Just trying to gauge to see if its worth waiting.
