Wait 1-2 weeks and you will know if they are doing it.“…the ‘insatiability doctrine – we spend money we don’t have, on things we don’t need, to make impressions that don’t last, on people we don’t care about.” Professor Tim Jackson

I'm with O2 now and due for renewal in September but they seem like they won't do any good deals for returning customers? Anyone had any luck ont he 3GS?
With that in mind what would I be losing if I cancelled and went to get the cash back from mobiles.co.uk?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

Just called T-Mobile. They said that they will/might be doing the Apple Iphone in the next week or so. The person was not sure if they would be doing the new 3Gs phone.
Anyone else heard about this. Will they be doing the next Iphone 3Gs?Wait 1-2 weeks and you will know if they are doing it.
Do you often ask a question then tell people to wait for the answer??
Anyway signs elsewhere look promising:http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/07/13/iphone_orange_t_mobile/
Orange & T-Mobile look like the're up for the 3G version. (Not 3GS)0 -
Sorry for my last answer. I only had what was said to me from the Leaving Department from T-Mobile. She said to wait a week and 2 to see what is being offered.
Do you think that the 3Gs would go down in price with t-mobile & Orange supplying 3S?“…the ‘insatiability doctrine – we spend money we don’t have, on things we don’t need, to make impressions that don’t last, on people we don’t care about.” Professor Tim Jackson

I doubt it.. Orange and T-Mobile will just use it as an additional marketing tool. The iPhone is being subsidized by the operators and O2 are reported to have lost money on them. (I guess they aim to get their money from customer retention after the initial contract)
What we may see is better competition on the tariffs being offered with them for contract.0 -
I'm an existing Carphone Warehouse customer and my contract expired two days ago and I'm now thinking about starting a new contract with the same number etc. and an iPhone 3GS. I'd like to order online via Quidco to save £45 but how can I ensure I'm adding the phone to my existing contract without paying for the two alongside each other, keeping my number and so on?0

Just a quick question. Anyone know the best (cheapest) way to get a 16gb iPhone (3G or GS) on PAYT? Anyone doing any cash back on it?0

Hello Everyone. I wanted to ask a rather specific question about this subject in general. I'm a US citizen living in the UK and I still need to get a mobile phone. I've been thinking about getting either an iPhone or a Blackberry that has wifi to it, so that I can use skype (and get the paid service) on the phone when I am visiting home in the US or am traveling abroad elsewhere in the world (also for calling abroad while I'm in the UK). My question is, would this be the cheaper solution than Pay as you Go or any other mobile phone/company, because I don't particularlly like Pay as You go because I always end up buying more minutes than I need and plus you need to buy more minutes eventually just to reactivate your phone. Any help you all can give me would be appreciated. Thanks.0

has anyone had any luck in getting o2 to offer anything off the standard tariffs/ iphone price when an upgrade is due? My contract is due for renewal in 4 days and wondered if I had any bargaining power with the retentions dept.0
