Was almost about to order an iphone via quidco from mobiles.co.uk...
BUT it says they are out of stock... even the 32Gb ones !
Has anyone else recently ordered through mobiles.co.uk.... were they out of stock ?
Im just wondering how long it will take them to restock ?
I ordered a 16Gb 3gs one on Wednesday from mobiles.co.uk. There was a problem with the contract and they also were awaiting stock but following a conversation with them today they have confirmed it has been dispatched by royal mail. Will be looking out for the post man tomorrow....
Not sure if it will qualify for quidco as had to finalise it over the phone but hopeful it will. It is tracking at the standard 1p at the moment.0 -

Good luck with the quidco. As you are aware normally if any part of an order is done over the phone it is invalidated, but you might get lucky :T0 -
Does it make any difference if you buy the iphone from...
- Apple
- O2
- Carphone Ware House
- mobiles.co.uk
If something goes wrong or you have any problems, who do you turn to ?
Do you contact O2, Apple or the retailer you bought the phone from ?
The reason I ask is that I was thinking of buying from mobiles.co.uk
But someone told me its best to buy from O2, because the customer service from places like Car Phone Warehouse is very bad.
The contract is with O2, no matter where you buy the phone from.
If I bought the phone from mobiles.co.uk and there was a fault with the phone, could I take it into an Apple store to get the fault fixed ?
Or can I only deal with mobiles.co.uk ?
I was also told that if you buy the phone from O2, when dialing the customer service number from your phone its 220 (or something like that).
But if you buy the phone from Car Phone Warehouse the customer service number is different.
This seems odd because the contract is with O2, so surely the customer service number would be the same no matter where you buy the phone from ?0 -

Lol. I've been keeping mine in the shade anyway!0 -
Looks like people living in tropical countries will have to really 'use at own risk' :P0

Both me and my o/h had minor faults with our iphones, both bought from carphone warehouse. Took to Apple store within the year warranty period and both replaced on the spot, no quibble.

Can anyone help?
ive just looked at the cashback sites (quidco and topcashback) for the 1st time and the iphone deals dont seem to match what the MSE page says. MSE says i can get an 18 month contract for £44 which gets me the i phone for free but all the offers on Quidco says 18 month contract will cost me £184.

Can anyone answer the following:
I have a great sim-only contract with O2 that I got through the retentions people with the intention of eventually getting myself a decent 3g phone.
I get 600 xnet mins, 1000texts and unlimited data for £10 a month for the next 2 years.
A PayGo iphone 3gs 16gig is £440. Should I be able to use it with my contract SIM with no issues? Would there be any difference between that and someone getting a contract iphone?
Cheers in advance.

Only main difference really is that you won't be able to use the visual voicemail.0
