Ive been reading up on quidco to try and ensure the cashback is successfull.

There are quite a few things that can stop it tracking.

quidco gives lots of guidelines to ensure that the tracking works.

Problems can not only occur because of cookies, but javasript, pop-ups, spyware, anti virus checkers, firewalls, peer to peer applicaions !

It seems you have to do alot of preperation on your computer to increase the chances of successful tracking !

My mobiles.co.uk hasn't tracked either, been around a week and nothin! Anyone had it track?

It's tracking for me at 1p. has been for about a week now. i usually use google chrome and have had no problems so far.
I should add this is on topcashback not quidco.

Whats the cashback deal with topcashback ?

I cant seem to find the iphone on topcashback.

Is topcashback more reliable than quidco ?
  • i did everything as normal and have never had problems before, previous orders always tracked. i am getting a little worried that i may not get it now:-(

The 3GS is much faster. The 2G is a bit slow. Don't waste your money on it. :money:

a side by side comparison of my 2g against a friends 3gs hasn't got me running to upgrade..

applications are faster to open but I'll give up the 0.5 seconds a day of my life.
web browsing on my 2g was faster.. my phone was on orange.. his on O2.

I may however live to regret that decision if I one day find myself drifting in a rowing boat in the middle of the ocean with no compass!

Has anyone complained about this monopolistic behaviour to the competition commission .... if it was microsoft, they'd be all over them .......

Can't see any such complaint getting very fair, if someone had bothered to make one. No-one is forcing you to buy an iPhone - there are plenty of other phones on the market, some of which offer much of the same functionality.

The difference with your example of Microsoft is that there aren't many alternatives to its key products (i.e. the Windows OS and the Internet Explorer browser) available on the high street.

I'm mid O2-contract and, while I quite fancy a 3GS iPhone (having ummed and erred about teh original before eventually deciding to get an HTC TyTN II a couple of years back) I still baulk at the prospect of paying £440 for a PAYG handset.

Especially when from what I read on the O2 retentions thread on here that they're offering !!!!!! all in the way of deals when contracts run out.....

Have a look at the bottom right of the mobiles.co.uk website home page...

    "© Copyright 1995 - 2009 The Carphone Warehouse"

    :D

Yeah even though Mobiles.co.uk, talkmobile and Fresh Mobile all fall under Carphone warehouses they are totally seperate the CPW Itself, so is E2Save, all of the above all have different contact numbers, and therefore if you phone CPW Customer service, they will ask you to ring the correct number...
