Buy it from US, they have halved the price, import it over.
 2014: £20 voucher from SurveyFriends, £10 cash payout from Panel Opinion too and working towards more from Valued Opinions currently.
2013: £35 and £50 vouchers from SurveyFriends! More than £15 made from other paid surveys sites (Yougov, Panel Opinion, Valued Opinions, Pinecone, etc.) Happy so far!

I would hang on a short while as since it was announced yesterday that the new iPhone 4 will be out in the US in june the price of 3Gs phones has dropped there, to add to this Vodaphone, Orange, O2 and Conphone Warehouse are not longer selling 3G only 3Gs as only the 3Gs will support the 4.0 firmware, anything older than this will not be supported after June along with the fact they should have the 4G by July, so expect some very cheap 3Gs phones soon.

All that has been done/said to my knowledge is Walmart slashing the price of a 3GS on contract.

Yeah it's all a bit of chinese whispers at the moment. Wait for June 7th to see what is announced then.

Well if we all listen to the doom and gloom merchants nothing will ever advance will it.

Hello, I have a 3G iPhone 8GB and am out of contract in a few days. It's pretty battered and bruised with a few scuff marks on the back and a minor crack at the top right of the handset, above the screen. I went on fonebank and saw I can get £161 for it so long as it works - which it does, completely fine, as new. My concern is that if I wait until the price drop on the 3Gs which it looks likely will happen in the next month, I won't get as much when I send it off to fonebank. I'm probably going to just get a 3Gs when the 4G comes out anyway because it'll be so expensive so is it really worth waiting when I can probably get a refurbished one for free now? Anyone have any thoughts?

Halved the price yes, but that with a contract, so not as cheap as it first seems.

    Hi all,

i have just spoken to O2, and the reboxed Iphones are back in stock as of yesterday apparently.

I have just been offered a

Reboxed 16Gb 3GS free of charge
    £33 a month over 18 months
    £28 a month over 24 months
    unlimited text and internet
    300 mins

I rarely go above 200 mins on my phone, so this suits me.

Is this a relatively good deal?
